I've gotten a lot of games because I like to play games, but most of them require playmates and I don't have access to others who like to play games so I search for a game that I can play myself and I found this one. Brilliantly simple, played in pubs as I undertand it but as a non-pub goer I must refrain but not from the game. The construction of this particular VAMSLOVE game is very nice indeed. I love wood products since I had a background in carpentry. The wooden construction is sealed in clear plastic to protect the moving parts and the playing items like the dice. There are two sets of dice, one sorta tan (looks like wood?) unique for one or two players and another set of plastic dice made for four players each having a set for their turn. I'm looking forward to playing with myself frequently in the future. I might even try playing as all four players. It is pricey but for the quality and the pleasure that the game will give it is worth it.

This board game is made with quality. It isn't all the time that you come across a wooden board game anymore. The game is simple and easy to play. The math side of the game is great for kids to keep them unknowingly using their brains. One small flaw I will call out is that the game board should've been about 1/8 inch bigger or the numbered tile pieces ever so slightly smaller. I say this because when you first start out and all players have all 10 tiles up, the outside tiles (the 1 and the 10) tend to rest on each other and don't lay perfectly upright (this is no big deal and doesn't affect the game in anyway, it's just a cosmetic thing which I am being nitpicky on).

I've been looking for unusual games that adults teens and kids can play on the holidays. apparently it is an older game that's been around for years. the quality is is common for many of the imports these days. the felt is a thin stick-on type the wood is finished with a light coat of sealer, no fancy polish finish. It should last for years the only I might do is put some thicker felt on it. No matter what it's much better than the other cardboard and paper games. you can play a variety of different games depending on whose playing dice.Overall quality is okay but it isn't going to bust your budget getting it either. It is worth getting

I was really hoping for a simple game to play with the kids, but it was actually a bit of a challenge. The way the blocks are designed, it was often hard to see what you, or the other players rolled, because the height of the blocks. That was annoying. Also, the instructions were gibberish. It was likely written in another language and translated to English, but it was very difficult to follow. We ended up making up our own rules which took a bit of the fun out of the game. The dice and board is nice and will last a long time.

I love this game. I have taught it to all of my grandchildren and they have fallen in love with it too. It is super fun to play. This particular version is absolutely beautiful. It made of solid and sturdy wood. The numbers flip up and down easily as they should. The center is a soft velvet area for rolling the dice. The game comes with four pairs of different colored dice. So each of the four players can have their own color. They also included four brown wood colored dice too. The instructions are very easy to understand. It is an easy game to learn. One of my granddaughters is five and can play with ease. This is a great game for kids to learn and practice math. This game is a great value for the money.

This is such a fun game and can be played with really any age group. I've played it with my friends while enjoying some beverages and played it with my boyfriends five year old. It's a very easy concept. I also really like this setup because you can just sit around it and play as a group.

This is a really nice 4 player Shut the Box game. We like to play this game but have a single scoring board that we pass to each player and doesn't look nearly as nice. This one is pretty cool with 4 scoring sides and the finish is beautiful.
