Delicate flavor Japanase sourced Green Sencha Matcha tea in Eco-Friendly Sachets
15 Sachets | Bushwick Tea | Sencha Matcha Green Tea | Organic Green Tea with Ceremonial Grade Matcha | Light & Grassy | Caffeinated | Eco-Friendly Sachets | (15 Sachets)========> NON-GMO sugarcane-based compostable bag not nylon.Let's give credit where credit is due:Since some reviewers have incorrectly indicated that the satchels are made of nylon, that should be highlight as is important to understand what the manufacturer is saying by stating "Eco-Friendly Sachets.""WHAT ARE THE Bushwick Tea SACHETS AND PACKAGING MADE OF ?Great question. Our sachets are plant-based. We only use a NON-GMO sugarcane-based compostable bag that is sealed ultrasonically [without glue] attached to a string and paper. This tea bag can be commercially composted. If you purchase the sachets in the individually wrapped format that are recyclable they come with a foil barrier to preserve freshness.=======Organic label, great presentation, and box. Made with two Japanese teas—sencha and matcha. Matcha being "Ceremonial Grade Matcha" which is an interesting story itself. These teas are said to come from Shizuoka and Kagoshima regions of Japan which are the largest.Tea has a slightly minty flavor to it. It is caffeine-free so evening tea with this is no threat to sleep. This tea comes in large teabags or Sachets (eco-Friendly) made of plant-based material that "looks like" nylon but IT IS NOT NYLON. They will make more than one cup of tea perhaps even able to reuse it again.Like most teas, filtered water should be brought to a boil no microwaved. Otherwise, the tea doesn't properly steep. Then steep for five minutes. Most green teas available retail in US seem to take longer to steep. This tea seems to do so a bit quicker. This green tea has a great taste to it. I always use sugar myself but traditionally, Japanese sweeten green teas with honey. This tea taste great to me with sugar and was not bitter like some green teas I have had.Bushwick makes awesome teas. I highly recommend this and their other teas. I have a few more to try. :-)

Nicely packaged sencha with matcha
Country of origin is Japan. The tea bags came in each individually sealed foil bag in a very nice box. This would make a great gift! The only thing I don't like is that they use nylon bags, which means microplastic may leach into my tea. So I emptied the tea from the tea bags into my own non-plastic strainer and brewed it that way. It was a very delicious cup. They added a little matcha to the sencha, the tea was green. I was able to steep it once more after the first steep. Very good tea!

Good tasting green tea, good package
So it's important to say up front that these are bagged teas - if you prefer loose leaf then these might not be a good fit. But these are good quality bags and this is good quality green tea. It's marketed as sencha matcha, which is some of the best quality green teas from Japan. In terms of taste, this is really good - some of the best green tea I have tasted. Overall, if you like green tea, then give this a shot.

Delicious, luxe quality organic green tea-thoughtfully designed for sustainability & on-the-go
Everything about Bushwick Tea Organic Green Tea seems to be developed & designed with great care and attention to detail and feels luxe. The box has a quality “artisan” style and each sachet is made from non-gmo, plant-based sugarcane without glue and are commercially compostable (I live in a city that has bins-yay), comes individually wrapped in a foil wrapper that is recyclable. While I’m not always for individual packaging, I found this helpful the other day when I was traveling, and I could toss it into my bag with little concern it would puncture. It also locks in freshness & aroma. To me, this tastes very Sencha forward Green Tea with only a very slight hint of Matcha. It has a more mellow, earthy flavor.Between the quality of the tea sourcing from Japan, the attention to more eco-friendly practices and the packaging, I would absolutely gift a box to a tea lover. I’m SO impressed with Bushwick Tea's Organic Green Tea, that I look forward to trying the other teas as well as checking out their tins & loose leaf teas.

Strong and tasted great
The matcha came with satchel tea bags that are compostable. The brew is stronger than I expected. Definitely stronger tasting than matcha powders for sure. It comparable to the same matcha tea that I get from Japan. Nicely presentable package and can probably be gifted too.

Good quality green tea
I like that the tea is packed in compostable filter bags and kept fresh in individual sachets. The tea tasted strong and bitter after steeping it with freshly boiled water for over 4 minutes. The color is a deep dark green and the aroma is earthy and invigorating. It's a great 'perk me up' refreshment.
