No more smearing!
Being a leftie, smearing pencil lines can be a bit of an occupational hazard anyway, and trying to dust off those annoying eraser crumbs was just making matters worse. Who knew I needed a special brush that would at least put an end to the latter frustration? Does the job perfectly and very pleased with my purchase. Thank you!

Whisk away eraser crumbs with this good value brush.
This is an excellent bit of kit. Up until now I've been using a large goat hair mop as a dusting brush but this is far easier to use. It is also very effective at removing eraser crumbs without smearing graphite across the work. If your process involves lots of erasing this is really worth getting. (I find using a brush lessens the possibility of absent mindedly using a hand to flick away dust and getting finger-marks on the paper which can later ruin even pencil-shading.)The size of the brush is not as shown but 22 cm long by 2.2 cm at the widest part, tapering to a narrower handle. This brush is well-made and very good value at the same size but half the price of the Faber Castell one.

The item is not in regular use but I am very satisfied with the purchase so far and now wish that ...
The item is as sold, "a dusting brush." All of the others I looked at are much the same in construction, the "Da Vinci" is at the lower end ofthe cost range. The bristles of this one are soft and so far, there has been no hair loss. I bought mine to replace a 4inch paint brush that I had been using. That item tended to spread the pencil media over the medium surface, whereas this brush does not seem to do so. I find the handle a little inconvenient to work with and would rather that the grip was situated above the bristles but this and similar items are all of a "traditional" construction. The item is not in regular use but I am very satisfied with the purchase so far and now wish that I had bought it earlier.

Excellent
We bake bread every other day and this has saved us so much time clearing up. It gathers the flour, not spread it around or get caught in the bristles like cheaper versions do. Worth every penny. Workbench a lot easier to clean when dry flour has been removed first.

I love this for sweeping away pencil/chalk dust and rubber detritus from my page without smudging my work. Plus it has turned out to be dual purpose, as my Chihuahua loves it too; the horsehair component I'm guessing; she literally grabbed it and stuck it under her 'arm' so that she could rub her neck all over it, she was soooo funny! And it gives her a lovely shiny coat which her rubber brush doesn't.
