Worked out better than I thought. We bought a gold and black chandelier fan and the rods that came with it were too short for the room. The company, which was great, sent us an extension to make the rod longer but the end result wasn't that great. Functional but visually not pleasing. This rod is the right length and, to me, make the fan look so much better

Extended the fan I bought so it could be used on a sloped ceiling. Did what it was supposed to... The extra long wiring is invaluable

Pipe is adequate for the intended purpose. Nice smooth finish.You should, however, be aware that pipe isn’t threaded, so it will not work properly for most hunter fans.Also, the included wire is barely the length of the pipe and far too short to make any kind of tie in. I had adequate wire on the fan I was installing, otherwise this would have posed a serious problem.
