Displayport GPU to usb-c monitor worked!
This perfectly worked with a Dell C1422 portable monitor. It didn’t bring power, so you need to supply power on the other usb-c. But it’s now up and running great.

Nice long cable that works well.
I am using this PAKLIMCN USB C to DisplayPort cable to run my monitor at 4k 60 from my USB-C/Thunderbolt on my computer on my wife’s monitor set up. This allows me to use my computer at her desk without disturbing her setup. It works very well! It is also fairly long for such a cable allowing me to route it out of the way around the table.I actually didn’t realize it was bidirectional until after I received the cable and I tested it for fun and it worked converting a Displayport output from a USB hub we have to the USB-C input on the monitor.

Works, but very limited by display support.
My cable measured 6 ft 8 in (2.03 meters).Decent fabric jacket, a bit shiny with the silver colored threads.Cable ends have minimal strain relief. Ends are aluminum shells with hard injection molded plastic.Worked fine as a DisplayPort output cable.Could only get the DP->USB C to work with my Magedok TO89A portable monitor. I tried two other Magedok monitors (T156C+ and T116), that have separate power inputs, and they would not activate with this cable. This is the first Bi-directional cable I've gotten working. Really seems to depend on your monitor. I've found many of my portable ones just ignore the USB C input unless they also get some power from it.

Phenomenal Value
I can't believe that this cable is actually bidirectional. All of the Subreddits that explore the topic of bidirectional USB-C to DisplayPort cables turn to the 27 dollar CableCreation cable. This is a much cheaper cable that allows you go to from DisplayPort to USB-C and it is braided. It also can go from a USB-C input to a DisplayPort cable and is priced on par with cables that can only do that.I have a UPERFECT 16" 2560x1600p 144Hz monitor. I have no issues with going from my RTX 3070 Ti's DisplayPort to the USB-C input on the monitor. I think I read somewhere that some cables might require 5 volts to be sent back to it from the monitor to work, but I'm not having any issues even if that is the case. I just say that in case this cable doesn't work for your portable monitor. I obviously don't have every monitor that has a USB-C port to test it with, but I can attest to being able to do 2560x1600p @144Hz with no artifacting.Overall, I highly recommend this cable. It's very versatile, has a long length, and simplifies my setup a lot. Before this cable, I had to connect a DisplayPort cable from my GPU to the Sunix UPD2018 and then connect a USB-C cable from the Sunix to my monitor. I now just have one cable going from my GPU to my monitor.

Doesn’t work DP to USB direction on MSI MAG 271QPX
I bought this cable specifically because it was advertised as bidrectional. The cable is of decent physical quality and works perfectly in the usb to dp direction. But the dp to usb direction did not work with my monitor, the msi 271QPX, in spite of a thunderbolt cable functioning in that port. Beware!

Just what I needed
My iMac was being repaired so I was using my iPad pro in the meantime. I decided to get a curved ultra wide monitor from Costco and use that with my iPad. This USB-C to display port cable works very well. Now I have a BIG monitor to use with my iPad. Highly recommend this PAKLIMCN cable.

Price is spot on for what you are getting
I am able to use this for a 16-inch USB-C to DP port on my computer. It allowed me to get a third monitor set up.The cable is braided and has a nice quality to it. The price under 10dollars is really solid for what you are getting bidirectionally, meaning it can go either way with the connection. This is really good for the price point. Resolution range: 1080p up to 4k, which is amazing. The length is over 6 feet and should be enough for most setups, but I always go with a 10 foot cable if possible. For this monitor, 6 feet allows me to manage the cable under my desk, through the cable cage, and up to the computer. If you have this option, get it; it's not bad at all.

Bi-directional
This cable really does work both ways. I hooked it up to my RTX 4070 Super with DisplayPort and plugged into a USB-C portable monitor and it works. Then I plugged the USB-C end into my Samsung phone and the other DP end into my gaming monitor and it also works. Does not charge though which was expected. You'd need a USB-C to USB-C cable for that with a monitor that supplies enough juice to charge your device at the same time. This cable is braided but still pretty stiff. The plugs are not too long but should fit most setups fine. The DP plug does not have a locking latch so you can just pull on the cable to remove it.
