I’ve tried several of these automatic curling irons now and can confidently say I’m still scared to death of them and this one more than the others. This will curl your hair but the clamp will leave a dent in the bottom because it’s too tight. I’ve tried several techniques I know to alleviate that but nothing works, the dent is always there. The buttons to curl the iron left and right rotate the hair way too fast for my comfort level. Usually they have a slow and steady curl that you can comfortably get close to your head and not burn yourself. I burnt myself twice because of how fast this moves and gave up after that. It was almost a blink and you miss it speed and I was really paying attention because it was my first time using this waver. Because of the more affordable price point I wanted to love this and be able to recommend it to others but in all good conscience I just can’t do that. Between the sub par curl/wave you get and the burn you light speed it moves at I have to recommend you skip this one unless you’re an expert and also not working on your own head.
