Better than expected! Very clear, very easy to use and i love having a second screen with my laptop. Size is grear and it is adjustable. The only issue i found is when it is vertical it leans back a lot, i feel like there is another piece you would have to get to make it perfectly vertical.

I have been trying to use an external monitor for my MacBook Pro from 2017 for about 6 months as the screen doesn't want to work. I tried with a first price and the only way it would work was through my smart TV. I read positive reviews regarding this Sotsu Flipaction Go 14" and therefore gave a try as a last resource. I am NOT disappointed! Of course the quality is not as great as my mac used to be, but it is pretty close too. Great quality screen, super easy to instal and recognized by my computer through the HDMI/ mini-HDMI cable that comes with the screen. The USB-C plug that comes with is a little short to be used to plug directly on the wall. I wish they would provide a longer cord. Other than that, nothing to complain about. I purchased the base stand as well and it works perfectly. The high of the screen is even at a better level than the computer screen.Great purchase. I definitely recommend this product!

I’ll be honest: when I saw only 20 or so reviews, I was hesitant. However, I really loved the look and stand of this monitor, so I decided to give it a try. I use Macs and absolutely love having a second monitor, but Sidecar just doesn’t work that well for me.I first tried the Ingnok 15-inch monitor, which was fine. It was $70 cheaper and weighed less than 2 pounds, but it felt a bit cheap. Then I tried the ViewSonic, which cost almost $200 more but wasn’t much better. Both drained my laptop’s power super fast, and the screen quality was just okay.This monitor, however, exceeded my expectations. The build quality is top-notch, and the glossy screen perfectly matches my Mac. While the resolution isn’t as good as my MacBook Air M1, it’s still more than adequate. The built-in stand is fantastic—it puts the monitor at the exact height of my laptop and fits perfectly on small coffee shop tables alongside my laptop.My only complaints are minor. The provided USB-C cable is bulky, making it hard to plug into the stand. Also, the placement of the Sotsu logo on the bottom of the monitor is a bit awkward—if you flip the stand to the top position, the logo ends up upside down. Lastly, it would have been nice if the branding on the stand was placed on the back, so it’s not visible.What I love:Build Quality: Sturdy and well-designed.Battery Efficiency: I’ve been using it for an hour, and my laptop battery is still holding strong.Design: Compact and perfect for small spaces like coffee shop tables.Overall, I’m thrilled with this purchase!

First I'll say that the technology of all of these portable monitors is pretty amazing. That they can operate on so little (powered from your phone or the smallest of battery banks) is amazing. And the color quality is impressive. The SOTSU is significantly more expensive than its competitors, and there are a couple of features that help justify the price. But there are also features that may undercut those benefits. At 400 nits, the monitor is 25% brighter than most of the competition and is usable even in bright light. The unit is also all metal, giving it a sleek and durable look and feel. The swiveling base is an ingenious design, though I found the menu button, while clever, to be a bit futzy. The inherent aspect ratio is 16:9, which is great for watching videos (or in my case, producing videos). It can run with just a single USB-C cable from your phone, receiving both power and video signal; or with via HDMI input with a small power bank. These are all top-notch features.But there are shortcomings as well. It doesn't have speakers, so there's no audio from the monitor itself (and others do). The refresh rate is 60Hz, which is more than enough for work tasks, watching video, and video production, but lags when it comes to gaming-- and is lower than some other, less expensive monitors. The 14 inch size is perfect for my use-- very easily transported-- but, again, smaller than some of the competition. These issues, especially the lack of audio, undercut the value when it comes to the high price point (at the time of writing it was $260). If the price drops, the superior build quality (metal design) will really shine.The colors, incidentally, are very bright but a little oversaturated out of the box. This can be adjusted in the menus.

I really wanted to love this monitor. The design is fantastic and well thought out. The pass thru charging was awesome on a windows surface laptop. The brightness was great. The thing that kills this monitor is the terrible quality of the actually screen. Its fuzzy and not clear. No amount of tinkering with the settings will get the monitor sharp enough for long term use. It’s such a shame. If they could get a higher quality panel in this design I would buy it again in a second. Take note sotsu.
