I have a set of the last generation of these from the same manufacturer or seller on Amazon. The old version are the black case with the black clip on mics that are skinny and about an inch and a half tall. The old version served me pretty well recording videos for Work. The audio was much better than some of the other solutions. I tried, and I was happy with the sound quality, although I always felt that it was a little bit too thin, and I would occasionally get crackles.The ones I have now are the Lark M2 knock offs and come in the black and yellow case and has the small quarter sized microphones and can be used with USB-C or lightning devices. This is an initial review.The sound quality is substantially better than last generation and substantially better than trying to use a quality shotgun mic or wired lav mic. My voice now sounds thicker and richer with more bass. Definitely glad for the upgrade.Plugged the receiver into my iPhone 15, turned on the microphone and started recording. Turned off the noise cancellation. Couldn't hear the background hum of my ceiling fan;couldn't hear the cicadas outside my window.I wish it came with a TRS plug so that I could use it with a camera, but you can't have it all I guess.If it lasts, it seems like a real steal at the price.I have some Hollyland Lark M2's on their way and I will test the sound quality one against the other and update this review

These are easy to use, and worked out of the box. Why? Because they were instantly recognized by both my phone and my laptop, both of which I use to record videos. Oh, and also my Chromebooks because they are also easy to record videos with.The only star being removed is because they also have static noise when being used for one purpose I bet nobody else will do... Okay, maybe some will. Our church does Zoom so those with medical or other issues can watch the proceedings from home, the hospital, or wherever they are.The loss of one star is because they have some static which distorts the sound a little. For that reason, I wouldn't recommend them for recording music. But, why would anyone do that? Convenience for one. You might have others.I recommend these for blogging and anything not requiring high fidelity.

I ordered this product to help give me better sound quality for videos taken with my phone. After doing some test videos, I have found the sound quality to be pretty good! To me, the voice quality does not sound robotic. Instead, my voice on the video sounds like my own voice. The microphones also block out wind noise very well in my opinion. I also really like the charging case that it comes with. I recommend this product!My only little complaint is that the receiver barely does not fit into my Galaxy S20 when I have my Otterbox case on. Therefore, I needed to purchase a little USB C extender to allow the receiver to plug in all the way into my phone. With the extender, the receiver plugs in just fine. However, I don't expect manufacturers to account for every type of phone case. So, I still give this product 5 stars. If you decide to purchase this product, just be aware that the USB C receiver might have a chance of not fitting into your phone all the way in without a USB C extender depending on the type of phone case that you have.

This product was horrible. Overall, I purchases 11 mics. At first they worked fine, but all of sudden started making strange noise within the first two days of usage. I originally purchased these for video content for a group of young people I work with. After going through a practice session with them, we noticed one of the mics made an echo sound. Yes, we had everything connected correctly and mics were not close to each other. Being that I purchased 11, we had to trade 1 mic out 3 times becuase it did not work. Instead of trading it out the fourth time, I decided to return all the mics that were in my possession. I do not recommend buying. It is not worth the hassle.

great sound quality and incredibly easy to use. i've tried wire lapel mics in the past and generally they have been a bit fiddly. these are so easy to use and we've been able to use the sound for our corporate videos and interviews

I stream on twitch, I am doing a lot of travelling atm during these streams especially outdoors. This is gonna help a lot. The only thing that sucks is we can’t control the volume via an app or something. An app should be developed but probably won’t ever be developed.

For the price you pay you really can’t go wrong plugged it into my iPhone 15 pro max (usb C) and it just worked

This mic actually surprised me. I expected less for the price but I was honestly pleasantly surprised. I’m happy with this purchase
