Nice concept
These savers are great. Had half of an onion in one and no smell. Kept my tomato fresh too. Have yet to try on an avocado, but I'm optimistic. All in all, a good product so far.

Great for some items
These are great for saving some smaller vegetables. They fit tightly to preserve freshness. You have to cut them kind of thinner to make it work. I couldn’t get half of a used onion to fit in the largest one, which is a bit of a bummer because that’s what I mainly wanted them for.

Works on small fruit too
These are a good way to save on plastic bags and/or plastic wrap. They come in a nice box and each of the 4 food savers has a cardboard wrap around them, so they might make a nice gift. The hard plastic rings on the outside screw to each other, but you have to get the alignment just right. The rings have indentations to allow your fingers to grab hold the product, but they are kind of hit and miss. They are a little hard to grab hold of sometimes.I only had a cartoon of strawberries on hand, but then I thought that they are smaller (than the normal type of fruit/veggie for the savers) and might give a good test since the membrane wouldn’t be stretched as much. I found 2 strawberries that appeared to be about the same “age” and cut them in half. One strawberry (2 halves) was put into a food saver and sealed. The other strawberry was left naked in the refrigator for 24 hours. The strawberry that was left out in the refrig was drying up (see pic) and the food saver one looked like I just cut it. They tasted the same way. The left out one was a little dry and the food saver one tasted like I had just cut it.I handwashed my food savers, so far, but I don’t think there would be any issues with putting them on the top rack of a dishwasher. The inside silicone film is about 4 1/4” in diameter (see pic).

Good solution for onions
I have only tried these so far with cut onions. They seem to keep a little more air out than a regular Tupperware container. They twist to lock and can sometimes be difficult to open but they do work well. I like the different colors for different foods. Each container has a cardboard band with the brand name so you could potentially breakup the set to make gift baskets. The value is fair.

These are the perfect replacement for plastic!
I have been trying to reduce plastic in my household, especially where it comes into contact with my food. Glass or Pyrex containers are great, but they don't seal directly against the food and it spoils faster. These silicone containers are just what I wanted! They are a bit tricky to close properly (it's hard to align the threads, and takes a few tries) but my tomato was perfectly fresh today.I had a large Vidalia onion which just fit the ring size, but I couldn't get it to stretch enough to close, so I had to cut the remaining onion in half and use use 2 containers. Not ideal since there is more produce exposed to air, but I'll see how that holds up. These obviously won't work for longer veggies like cucumbers.I have been especially wanting to try this with avocados so I am reserving the green container for that. Update: I sealed up some elephant garlic and noticed a bit of odor leak-through and I'll edit to see if I can clean them easily to remove the odor. Other than that, I am using these constantly and they are working great. They hold the sliced tomato firmly without squishing it and it stays fresh on the counter (don't refrigerate tomatoes - FYI)Looks like I'll need even more of these!

Just ok
I have been using Tupperware for years but thought these would be easier to use and store the veggies better. They are a little difficult to to open and close, but easier than the Tupperware, but in terms of keeping the veggies fresher, meh…. Would not buy them again.

Smart design
The product is interesting. It is light and space-saving. Though the ring is made of plastic, the part directly contacting food is made of silicone, which is considered food-safe. However, the part is kind of small, so it only fits one object. I think it is okay if the purpose is for the remaining food after cooking. Also, the silicone directly contacts the food surface; therefore, it can effectively reduce food oxidization, especially avocado.
