I recently received this Potion Making Kit for my kids, and it’s been a fantastic addition to our craft activities. The kit includes everything needed to create 20 different “wizard potions,” which keeps my kids engaged and excited. The instructions are clear and easy to follow, making the crafting process enjoyable and accessible. The variety of ingredients and colors provided allows for a lot of creativity and fun experimentation.This kit makes for an excellent gift for birthdays or Christmas, offering both educational and imaginative play. My daughter loves these kits and this is a little different in the fact it has a tree to display them from rather than a bookcase as some others do. I like that the bottles are plastic. The kit comes with lots of dyes and sprinkles and decorations that my child loves putting together and then creating new names for her spells and creating the labels. It's good fun to do together. It's just a shame that once it's done, it's done. So may be a little expensive for an hours worth of play. But it does encourage imagination and bonding.

If you have a young person, or maybe just someone who is young at heart, who likes to create a dream world and make potions and magical formulae, then this set will provide a starting point to let their imagination run wild.There are lots of different ingredients included, and the included recipes/instructions will guide them through the process. The little bottles, colours of the ingredients and effect all help to provide both a magical experience as well as a creative learning platform, as there are some great experiments to create.Good fun and this makes a super gift as well as something that you can do with your kids or grandkids!

Having spent some happy hours messing with a similar kit, our daughter (11 at time of review) has also really enjoyed this kit, creating various little potions using the supplied materials, along with the added different activities that this kit offers, like the invisible ink writing and the lava flow.Comes with all you need for the activities, ingredients, mixing containers and little jars to store your creations. The kit comes with a tree to hang your finished creations.Well packaged in a retail box, plenty of fun to be had from this kit.

I'm not actually sure what this is supposed to do. My daughter usually loves things like this but was done with it in less than 20mins which for a cost of £20 makes this rather poor value in my eyes.There's lots of bits but nothing really does anything with the exception of a couple of liquids. Overall i'm a bit underwhelmed by this.

I was very pleased to receive this product, at the time I received it, it was priced at £19.99 and I consider this to be good value for money. It was well packaged.This kit gave my grandson and me an hour of good fun - the anticipation was probably better than the actual experiment - but enjoyable all the same.I recommend this product!

In the box, looks a bit disappointing and small compared to the pictures on the listing but contents are excellent.Lots of little bottles allowing child to mix and match things.Great fun present that parents can't get annoyed about.Suitable from age 3 but probably aimed more at 5 to 8 years old.The powered unicorn horn is a real hit!Excellent quiet and absorbing play.Overall a nice set that was very well received.

I am using this potion kit with a small summer camp - kids ranging from 6 - 11. They love it! Each camper was able to choose a bottle and there is a colourful manual that explains how to do all the experiments. They love the glitter, variety of plastic charms, and the unicorn hair and magic powder. It was funny watching them add the items to create their potion. Even with a bunch of helpers, this is a somewhat messy activity, so we have our campers wear paint smocks.This is such a great activity for imaginative play and each kiddo was thrilled to show the other campers their potion. The potions can be hung from the enclosed card tree when finished, until it is time for the kiddos to take them home. Highly recommend for a small group activity!Update - we needed to order another set as the kids wanted to make another potion!!! This was literally their favorite activity!!!

I remember making potions when I was a kid, but probably not out of the safest ingredients. Our kids used to do the same. This set is nice for the grandkids and much safer than what we used to do. Very entertaining.

I always look for things that my grandkids like, so they'll have toys here when they come to visit. I saw this and knew my granddaughter would love it.She's visiting now and was excited when she saw it. She has a very creative mind so I jokingly told her not to make any "curse" potions. I knew if I didn't that she would try to make an evil potion to use on her brother. Lol.She opened the box and immediately started making her potions. She's the type of kid who will make a bunch of potions, mix them together, and really experiment with them. She played with it all afternoon yesterday.She is very happy with this potion set, so I'm sure happy. I think this is a great toy for creative kids.

This is a fun kit for the 7~10 year old set. My 7 year old enjoyed making & naming potions, thinking of wishes, and trying new creative elements with each jar.
