Yes, it can. Each battery can independently select the suitable mode by pressing the "MODE" button. Example: Bank 1: AGM, you can choose "12V SLA/AGM"; Bank 2: Lithium, choose "12V LITHIUM".

Q: Can this charger be plugged in 24/7 while storing the boat or being on a dock?

Yes, it can. When voltage of battery being charged drops, charger will automatically replenish the charge. When battery reaches its full charge, charger will automatically enter battery maintnance program to ensure optimal performance & longevity.

Q: Why does the charger get hot when charging 2 batteries at the same time? Is it safe?

It is safe. When the charger temperature is high, output current will automatically decrease; or Over-temperature indicator will blink and charging will stop. When the charger cools down, it will charge automatically without manual operation.

Q: Would I just hook up the 2 bank independently to charge the 2 batteries？

Yes, you can hook up the 2 bank independently to charge the 2 batteries. It is easy to install. Please refer to the instruction manual
