I love this thing
So I must say, I really love this thing, however I'm going to list my pros and cons, also I'm going to explain the reason I purchased it as I have a very high end gaming PC and I don't really travel allot but if I did, unless I was in a car or somewhere that has power nearby and I was going to be stationary there, then that would be great however, if I'm going to be on the move with no power source nearby then this is not a great device for that.So the reason I purchased this since I already have a high end PC is because my PC is down in my man town, well I work 50 hours a week and have 3 kids so by the time I'm finished working and played with my kids and did things arrive the house it feels like I have no time with my wife and it has taken a toll on her for the almost 10 years we have been married. So I bought this for when I want to play a game, but I want to be laying in bed with my wife, the fact that I am just in the sand bed with her beings her comfort as before I would be down in my man town playing on my PC and occasionally I would pass out down there. I know it's a crazy reason lol I'm sure some of you will laugh, but sometimes it's the little things in life that can make a world of a difference to the others you love. So for example I have been in love with ghost song,... Almost like a new modern super Metroid, so I have been hanging out with my wife, and when she falls asleep she likes to put her leg over mine and it helps her to fall asleep, as soon as that leg goes on, BAM I break out the one x, put my Bluetooth ear buds in and I'm in the game lol.I know it sounds like all I do is game but I assure you that's not it, I work so much, tend to my family, deal with all the things falling apart in my house and life, and try to spend time with my wife... After that there is nothing left for myself, so this little device has really helped me allot with that and I'm grateful I was able to afford it this year, I have really wanted one of these since I first heard of them a few years ago.Nevertheless, if you are buying this because you're already on the move, if you're planning on playing any graphics demanding titles even in low settings, the battery will just not last long enough, even when I have it set to 10 watts, and less than 50% CPU power as well as frequency, playing ghost song plays very smooth but the battery maybe lasts....1.5 to 2 hours.I am I high level auto mechanic tasked with the diagnosis and repair of all control modules and communication in automobiles and trucks, so allot of my work includes replacing and reprogramming modules, which usually requires a widow's PC with a connection to a VCI or vehicle communication interface device, and with the USB-A I even have used the one x to do that with the software installed. So here are my pros and consPros:*very very powerful, more powerful than my 5800u hp elite book*Has fast charging capability with provided wall charger*can do anything a Windows PC can, Bluetooth, WiFi, everything*The controls, analog sticks and triggers specifically feel amazing, the hall effect upgrade was awesome and you can tell the difference*The screen is amazing and clear*The rgb is also very nice looking, but I prefer it off to save battery*It feels nice in the hands*It comes with a film screen protector already installed but I removed it and added a glass oneCONS:*price is pretty high.... But these guys put allot of money in R and D for this thing and they did an amazing job so I can't complain too much about the price because a similar laptop would be about the same price and you can do the same with it as you can with this... But the price is high nonetheless*Battery life.... It's pretty bad in my opinion but it does last for about an hour with settings all the way up which to be honest isn't that bad considering battery technology limits right now*It doesn't have an SD card slot which would be nice but has the capability of plugging in an extended hard drive or hub*For the price I think including the dock and a keyboard would be nice, I purchased them separately as well as a case, but honestly one of those small Amazon pelican cases with the foam insert worked better than the case I bought also from Amazon. But there it is, it's a really great device I'm kinda of bummed the onex player 2 is coming out soon and I didn't know that otherwise I would have waited for itUpdate 12/31/22So everything has been great except for one small issue, so my left speaker sounds damaged, sounds very very raspy and distorted, well for Christmas my wife got me an Amazon gift card and with it I bought a 2tb m.2 ssd and I upgraded the SSD in it, while I had it apart I took the left speaker out to see what was wrong with it and the speakers are enclosed in a little sub woofer box with a small air pressure woofer on the bottom of them, well the speaker itself is supposed to be mounted on a part of the box that gives it an air tight seal, well my speaker unstuck from the box and fell into it, there is no way to separate the box as it is glued together not meant to be taken apart, well I used my hot knife and melted the seam and opened it and restuck the speaker in its spot and re-melted the plastic together which has fixed the speaker for now, but I just contacted onex to see if I can get some replacement speakers, hopefully they will send them for free otherwise I will purchase them but I hope sourcing replacement parts won't be hardOtherwise I cloned the original 512gb SSD and it works great

Handle everything I throw at it
Battery life could always be better quality is very decent top notch design very portable the screen I a little too small at times but one thing I will say it's a beast 6800u is no joke every game works all triple AAA titles I had one small issue with forbidden but other than that all other titles play well at lower frame rate but odd thing even at lower frame rate still so fluent and flawless I sometimes question is this correct frame rate because to me no stutters no nothing looks to be at full speed expensive but liked better than ally and it ran starfield with no issues unlike rog ally at first

Hear Me Out
The Specs are so trash considering the price, its too overpriced you can buy a way better laptop with this much money. If you care this much about handheld then you should go with it otherwise it’s not worth it.

Amazing if you have the tech savvy patience
Several times in the span of just a few days, the sticks just drift drift or become unresponsive. Also, the 1 TB is actually 2 separate drives making it impossible to save more Steam games. I mean, maybe I’m dumb. I couldn’t figure it out. It’s hard to trouble shoot all this on a 7 inch screen. Wanted to love it. Will wait for the Rog Ally.If the hardware wasn’t an issue, this thing is such a charming device. It’s really nice to hold in the hand and the picture quality when plugged into the TV was pretty good.

So awful
Not user friendly. Frustrating and annoying. For the amount of money this is not easy. The steam deck is way better

WARNING! - Zero Customer Service
My OneXplayer has two bad USB C ports and I've been working with OneXPlayer to get the device fixed/replaced, they had me send video after video to prove I was having a problem, then had me send it to them at my cost, then sent it back to me still not working. Explained that it was still not working and they told me that's the way it is suppose to work (Broken). I highly recommend any other device.
