We had been looking at these on the Nathan James website and on a whim I checked Amazon. And boom there they were $400 cheaper and with prime shipping. These are beautiful sturdy barstools. The fo-leather is soft and a rich color. In the white fad of kitchens this is a nice way to bring in some warm color and life. They were easy to assemble and packaged nicely to protect the leather. Would definitely recommend to anyone!

Since moving into our home a few years ago we haven’t utilized this bar counter and finally we decided we needed tall chairs to make this space useable. These are the perfect height and come in so many great color combinations! The chair is sturdy and was super easy to put together. It’s not a lounging chair as the back is a (strong) piece of fabric and the padding is firm but I love the look of these and the way the fit in our space. Also helps they aren’t too comfy so your guests won’t overstay their welcome.As seen in the photo, my 6 year old uses it easily and enjoys getting to watch me in the kitchen.

I love the appearance of these. They were easy to build (I did them myself) and are very sturdy. The cushion is firm, yet very comfortable. I used scotch guard on them because they’re white and I have kids (I know why did I buy white?). My only complaint is the cushions aren't removable so they can’t be covered, machine-washed or exchanged easily.

These stools are really fantastic. They assemble really easily. Once assembled, you don't see screws, they look expensive and feel sturdy and well-made. They are really gorgeous stools and the price is unbelievable for them - a lot of the stools I liked were $700-$800 PER STOOL and I was able to get this set of 4 for around $800. I have gotten many compliments on them. I had noticed a few comments about the cushions being too firm, and when I sat down for the first time they didn't feel quite as "cushy" as they look. But they are actually very comfortable, and I sit on mine multiple times every day. And I think the fact that they are slightly firm will help them hold their shape and last for a long time. I would very highly recommend you give these a try - I bet you will love them!

1. These were so easy to put together. There’s only a couple pieces for each chair. They were level and sturdy without needing us to adjust them.2. They are really nice looking. The low back allows them not to block the counters and kitchen.3. Comfort- I was worried about the cushion and comfort if the chair. The cushion is firm but comfortable. I think if they were squishier, they’d lose their nice look quickly. The low back is comfortable too. We’ve played card games in these chairs for hours and I never felt like I had to stand from being uncomfortable.4. Easy to clean- with three kids under 5, I was worried about dirty hands ruining the chairs quickly. We’ve had oil from peanut butter, chocolate ice cream, Mac and cheese and more on these in the first couple weeks. I quickly sprayed with a laundry stain spray and then used my little green Bissell on the chair. They look brand new! You cannot see where the spill was. Also, they are not discolored where I treated them.Overall, I am VERY impressed by the quality and style of the chairs. I would recommend to anyone!

I ordered 4 on Mass tax free weekend (the taller bar height) when they were $249. Each. Now I see they are $239 - hmmn. The first one arrived in about 5 days. The other three 2 days later. I opened the first one and it was obvious that it was a sloppily packed customer return. No instructions, hardware loose in the box. All inside boxes open. Worse, someone shoved the styrofoam packing so hard into the seat back that it looked like this. It wouldn’t come off. Ughh. It’s not pleasant sitting on a 30” stool that rocks. When the 3 others arrived, I carefully assembled one of the “new ones using the instructions provided. Although it went together roughly as hoped for, the stool would not sit evenly on my floor. There are three old stools here now and all legs are even and don’t wobble, even after 10 years. . Other gripes - the legs and footrests and chair back are not stained evenly or are different wood. You can see the color difference in the picture. Since we needed 2 replacements at a minimum of the 4, we decided to just send them all back. The instructions say that if the legs are not even, to loosen everything and try to align them. In fairness, we did not bother as we felt chairs were only of fair quality. It is noted that there are not very expensive but we are going to avoid partially assembled stools all together. I see that these are marked as a “frequently returned item” so buyer beware.

I was so excited about these chairs but I had to return all 4 of them. They looked so so cheap, with a fake plastic wood and the seat cushion being super thin. I think they fool you in the pictures because once you get it, it looks like something out of ikea... but hey, some people do not mind!

It is so pretty, confortable and wide enough, I can sit on it for a long time.Very happy with this purchase. :)

Very happy with these counter stools! Initially, I was skeptical due to some of the reviews stating they were “like sitting on a stone”. However, I find these to be comfortable! Love the style and quality appears to be amazing as well! 10/10 for me!

Got a set of 4 and I couldn't be happier with these! Better quality and better comfort than nearly everything else we've tried.

Definitely not the cream colored fabric shown in the picture. It’s full on tan/light brown and fabric was also a different texture then I was expecting. Unfortunately won’t match my kitchen at all so no point in assembling.
