The iKF R1 Wireless Headphones arrived neatly packaged in a windowed cardboard box bearing the iKF branding.In the box you get the headphones themselves, a USB charging cable and an instruction manual.The headphones are of the over ear design and feature a retro look with aluminium banding and contrasting orange/brown earpads and are remarkably light in use.The headphones connect quickly using Bluetooth and connection is stable, although for watching video there is always that annoying delay between image and sound.For music however, the headphones work well and audio quality is remarkably good for this style of headphone.A good looking retro headphone for listening in relatively quiet surroundings.

As someone who remembers being wired for sound these had a great nostalgia but with the added bonus of no wires.

They do indeed remind me of a pair of headphones I had in the 1980s. They broke when I caught the audio lead in the arm of the chair I was standing up out of. Being wireless, that won't happen with these, but that narrow metal central band means I seriously wonder how fragile the connection with the ear pieces is. It also means that they slip forwards every time I dip my head.The sound is OK, if you're listening to voice or pop music. If you want bass in your dance music, they're short on that, and also don't sound great with opera. They do AAC audio as well as the baseline SBC codec.At 53 quid, these are more than many pairs of Soundpeats earphones - their battery life isn't as good, but the sound is better.They are not much less than the EarFun Wave Pro headphones I tried recently: the extra money gets you something that feels much less fragile, slips much less easily, sounds better, has active noise cancellation and comes with a travel case. Unless you really like the look of these, why would you get them?

I purchased this headphones for my son as a gift , It is light weight and rich sound . I recommend this for a teenager or adult. The size of this headphone is adjustable .

These headphones look retro, but with a few modern touches.First off they are made completely of aluminium, which makes them nice and light, but also hard wearing. So they can be thrown in a bag and stand up to be knocked about in there.The headphones are easy to link to your phone using Bluetooth and the connect is stable. I like my phone on the side and managed to wander around the garden without losing any connection.They are comfortable to wear and the sound quality for this price point is quite good.

Coming well boxed for their display these open to a robust set of earphones. They're made of all metal (aluminium) from the headband to the outer earcups. These wont have any problems being through around in a bag without the worry of a hard case. For being all metal though they also very light!They're on ear so expect smaller headphones than your used to, they are the classic travel style thats slowly dropped out of popularity for the newer noise cancelling style but theres something noise cancelling just doesnt deliver sometimes that these do.The sound quality is open and airy. Theyre a very flat type of audio, nothing being overly strong like too much bass for example. They do curve really well with a touch or 2 from an EQ to give a really pleasing delivery of bass, mids and highs for a range of musical preferences but the audio bleed can be quite high when volume is up for those who dont like others hearing what theyre listening to.They have the standard headphone controls with volume etc, they have multi-point connectivity and while they say theyre good for gaming it was perfectly fine in latency but for competitive gaming, i'd say they wouldnt be the best to rely on.Long term the batteries been holding up impressively fine.

The iKF R1 Retro headphones look great.I ordered the brown and silver which does add to the retro look.They feel good quality, and the sound is good and are comfortable to wear.The bluetooth worked well on different devices.The headphones don't require batteries and are chargeable via a type C cable, which is included.

Build quality looks good and up to the job.Personally I love the design of these Headphones, Certainly a blast from the past when it comes to looks. Not a bad thing in my book! When it comes to sound they are certainly not left behind by the standards of today. In fact I was pleasantly surprised by the clarity and warmth coming out of these. Bass was enough to please and overall the sound quality punches way above the price point.Bluetooth connection was easy and almost instant. I found the connection to be very stable and worked several metres away from the main device never losing connection. Excellent!As far as wearing these for long periods, I find these some if not the most comfortable on Ear Headphones I have ever had. Lightweight but well made you almost forget you’ve got these on!All in all I cannot find fault with these headphones. At the current price point of just £42.39 (Nov 24) they represent excellent VFM. Great sound quality, well made, comfortable. I for one am very happy with these. 5 Stars and a Highly Recommended.
