No more changing batteries
I had this outdoor ring camera with a battery overlooking my pool and surrounding area. Because of the constant waves in the pool from the pump my battery drained quickly. So I bought a solar charger. Once again the charger could not keep up with the constant motion so I finally bought this plug in and now the camera stayed charged.

Power line for ring camera and more
A pretty long power line for a ring camera or other devices. Powers up my battery powered ring camera and it recognizes it is powered. No more changing batteries.The only down side is that it does not come with a plug base. You need to provide that yourself. Would be nice if it came with an outdoor capable base.

Fantastic
Great value for the money. It performs well. I use it with a solar panel and that's what I got it originally for it. It's got a good length and it fits well in my phone. It's a great charging cable for the money

No more getting up on ladders to change batteries
This charging cable and adapter has worked well with my Ring spotlight camera so far. My batteries were near dead and charged back up to 100% within two days. This is a lower voltage charge so it does take some time but gets the job done. At first, the app just showed that power was connected, which was good. The next day the battery percentage was climbing up. We have not had any rain recently so I cannot speak to how it impacts the charging connections. Using this charging cable beats the heck out of getting up on a ladder to change batteries.

Works Well and Long
I mistakenly purchased stick up cameras with the battery power, when I wanted wired units. I was outside of Amazon’s return policy, so I picked this up and it did the trick.I’m now able to use my Stick Up Camera wired.

Sturdy cable for routing outdoors.
These very positive features include the long cable, sturdy cable sheath and the USB-C adapter. Included is a 2 amp power block and all combined is a perfect solution to powering an outdoor security camera.In this specific installation in a permanent shadow, the solar cam panel would need a much longer cable spliced. So instead of using a solar panel, I have used. Much closer AC receptacle. And because this cable and adapter is so long, I did not have to use a 120vac extension cord that would have to be protected from the outside elements to be safe. Value for me justices the not so low price.

Not as described, not weatherproof, not for outdoor use
This includes a 110V AC to USBA 5V 2A adapter, a USB A to 1.35x3.5mm DC barrel plug, and then a 1.35x3.5mm DC to USB C adapter. This would allow it to power most Ring stuck up camera.This claims to be waterproof but I do not find that's the case. The included AC adapter and wiring do not have any obvious weatherproofing on them, no rubber seal. The AC USB adapter is also the run of the mill type with the power prongs directly attached to the brick, which means you cannot plug it into a weather proof outdoor socket and close the lid to make it weatherproof.This would work indoors, but is not suitable for outdoor use as claimed
