I've bought several DVR's and stand-alone cameras over the last decade, and they were all junk despite having good reviews.This DVR is EASY to set up, the cameras pretty much connect themselves once you get the DVR going. No need to scan QR codes or programming, just had to set up an account and put in wifi password.The phone app works perfectly, loads fast, no ads, and full control of cameras and recording history.The IR lights work great, but being in a well-lit area, I turn them off and they still see great at night.The cams also have great wifi range/connection, I have one cam more than 60 feet away through 3 walls and it has 4/5 bars connection. Motion sensitivity is also great, it notices anything that moves if I enable the feature.In summary I'd highly recommend this DVR system, which is something I've never said before about a DVR.

The media could not be loaded. The NVR is recording the 4 cameras 24/7 and no need for cloud storage fees. Can download videos to photos. I ordered a 14’ Ethernet cord and wireless mouse so I could plug NVR and wireless mouse plug into back of NVR and from Recliner pull up cameras and see what is going on, click one of the four cameras and pan tilt or zoom cameras from recliner. Also adjust settings for cameras, turn on off lights siren, infrared viewing or daylight or full color night with lights on camera. NVR connects to router, and create password so secure and can view alerts or check in on home, garage from anywhere and have full control of cameras and talk listen. Can add a total of 8 cameras to system and block out parts like my neighbors, so cameras don’t alert. On tv screen, easy to pull up calendar and select a specific one or all and watch recordings from past days. I lost the instructions while waiting for Ethernet cable and wireless mouse to arrive and contacted Amazon and Emma from the company contacted me ASAP. She was available 24/7 with me no matter if 2 am or day time and we FaceTime to set them up. This cameras are really nice since the flexibility of if internet goes down they are using there own WiFi from NVR. For the price point and functionality it’s everything I needed. I am on 8 liters of oxygen and can’t get to door fast so it’s not only a door cam but security cameras also. The video with Fed EX guy i just put up and had not adjusted picture settings. I have two more to mount outside. The cable for power with cable from camera is 10’. Did not need to buy ext cable and fits in enclosed outdoor plugs around ext of house and garage. Mounting bracket is 2 screws that come with camera and expansion inserts is like for drywall. Glad I bought these, Emma made it so easy. Glad I lost instructions. I was still using 2010 Foscam cameras . These cameras came already synced to NVR not like the old time cameras.

I am with my cameras and update.

Hard Drive failed after a couple of weeks. Took a couple of days to get a reply. They keep telling me they need more information. Got amazon involved. Amazon was great in helping me. The picture quality is fair to good. Has some good functions on the cameras. Easy set up. No mic. Cannot talk back and forth. Customer service could have been a lot better or I would of given the product 3 stars instead of one star. Sometimes cameras don't move even with a strong signal. Functionality movement of the cameras seem to work better when using the app.times cameras don't

This was the best choice of systems of all we looked at for months. We bought a monitor and extra cables to setup all the cameras on the front of the property and it works like a dream! We did have trouble with 2 cameras but Emma helped us quickly to solve the issue and exchanged them and everything runs smoothly. The alarm and ability to speak through the microphone in the app is so helpful. Easy setup of the app as well and you will love this system! We actually caught a FedEx driver on the camera damaging property and leaving the scene. We used the tape to get reimbursement for damages. This system also picks up voice from quite a distance. We heard people talking from far away but very clearly.

They work as advertised. The set up was easy and the app is pretty good. It may take some time to get use to the controls and managing your default settings but that's the name of the game.
