It Worked for Me!
After two months of hobbling around and using a cane my Plantar fasciitis wasn't getting any better. After three nights of using this product and three days of using “ProFoot Plantar Fasciitis Inserts” (about $7.50 at Walmart), about 90% of the pain is gone. Mostly I don't notice any pain. The trick is to keep your feet at about a 90 degree angle to your legs while you sleep. That keeps the arch mussels from shortening overnight and pulling on your heel when you walk. During the day, the inserts hold the mussels in place and raise your heel to lessen the strain. The large size splint has plenty of room for my size 13 4E feet. I've adjusted the three straps to fit loosely. The device is light weight and doesn't interfere with my sleep. I don't see the need to remove it to take a quick walk to the bathroom. Once adjusted it goes on and off in thirty seconds. For Plantar Fasciitis suffers this could be the best $20 you've ever spent.

I get better blood circulation at night with the lightly wrapped ace ...
After a couple of nights of use, my morning foot pain was significantly reduced. Yes the brace is rather bulky so sleeping in it takes some time to get adjusted to . I wear it both at night and during the day when at relaxing at home. For me, the most uncomfortable aspect of the splint is the strap across the top of the foot. Its very irritating when wearing at night so I found a work around by lightly wrapping the foot including the brace with an ace bandage; the goal is to keep the foot snug in the brace. I get better blood circulation at night with the lightly wrapped ace bandage as apposed to using the lower straps and I don't have the feeling of the coarse straps digging into my flesh. For those that complain of it making your foot feel warm or hot, put small cotton hand towel between your foot and the splint. The foam padding will cause your foot to feel warm.

Left Foot Only
As stated by several other reviews, this is incredibly difficult to strap on the RIGHT foot. There are numerous buckles and velcro straps and when on the right foot these are incredibly difficult to reach as you need to visually see them to connect them. They need to make a symmetrical unit for the right foot and make attachment easier. No literature comes with it.I've only used it for a couple days. It is extremely difficult to sleep with, but possible. It's also near impossible to adjust the tension in the straps during the night if you feel your circulation is being cutoff. When worn properly, I only experienced a temporary benefit, a few minutes in the morning, nothing longterm yet. I'll continue to try for a couple weeks and quit unless the benefit is more measurable.

Good product, just bad feet
It is very tight, there isn't much room to adjust the 'pull' from the bottom of the toes. My feet have been ignored so long that they need to be 'corrected' at a slow pace and with this item you can't do that. There is no play in the side straps. It is to rigid. I ordered a 'soft' one to try that. We will see if it helps. The doctors appointment is 3 weeks away.

Took time to get used to.
I had to start off wearing it for short periods of time, but eventually worked up to be able to wear for 3+ hours. I've never been able to sleep in it though since it's fairly bulky and awkward. I like that it's fully adjustable and has a removable foam wedge in the toe if you need a bit more stretch. This splint has definitely helped my plantar fasciitis.

BUY IT!!!
To date this has got to be the best purchase through amazon.Does exactly what it says, relieves the fascia during rest by stretching it or should I say keeping it extended.I'm now able to get up in the morning without limping. In addition to this I purchased Bio-Flex and a once daily vitamin. My feet feel much better after a month with this product. The only down side was the adjustment period getting use to them it's like ski boots in bed. After a couple nights I sleep better and feel better. If you're having issues with your fascia then this is for you.

works
Well made and can make lots of adjustments. My calf is 15", the straps are too long especially the upper strap so it almost runs out of velcro to secure it. Also I brought the large (10.5 shoe) and the toe box is a little too narrow. If I had a longer foot it would fit better.

No problems.
I've used two brands of PF boot, this was the second. Had no problems other than it's hard to buckle on the left if you're right-handed (they need a left and right). I wore this about a year and then switched to stretches when first waking up and didn't have to wear it any more. Last July I went gluten-free on a whim and surprise, surprise - my PF disappeared within 2 days. It's been over 5 months and it hasn't come back. But if I ever need a boot again I'd order this one.
