I was a little hesitant to pick one up given the price, but tools with similar blades (marking knives btw!) don't have tips as fine as this one does. Thankfully, it's quite nice quality - it arrived razor sharp and the metal characteristics are definitely consistent with 440SS, which is commonly used by brands like Boker and SOG for utility knives. I was worried about the tip being fragile since it's so fine, but after using it to dig into both styrene and resin parts, I think it'll last a good while without any chipping. I'd avoid using the pointy side for any prying action just to be safe.As always, flat tool handles are perfect for the workbench, and this is no exception.The (2) in the listing title refers to the number of boxes you receive. One has the handle, caps, and a hex tool, the other has the blade. The blade has lines on it to help you center it in the grip, then you tighten a grub screw in the middle of the grip. I think they come shipped separately to help prevent galvanic corrosion - the grip is anodized, but you will probably want to put a small amount of oil on the blade before seating it long-term.Overall, this has replaced a few old hobby knives and a scalpel in my workflow for the most part. It is worth the price tag and I can easily see it being a go-to tool in my collection for the next few years at least.
