Very small and easy to install
Very nice detector. It is very small and it install easily. The screw holes are smartly designed unlike the one from First Alert. The button for postponing alarm for 10 minutes does work. There are no instructions how to start it. You simply have to press the button for a couple of seconds until the red led flashes.

Maybe ten years was meant to read ten hours?
I bought three and installed them Tuesday evening. Wednesday when the kids got home from school, all three were chirping with a low battery warning. Now I’ve got holes in walls, brackets installed and no smoke detectors. How could I possibly entrust our safety to this product. Complete fail.

Only lasted two years.

Good quality
I got these to replace my wired home smoke detectors. They came with the brackets and hardware to mount them onto the ceiling, but I decided to use double-sided tape to mount them beside my old smoke detectors.

Unit is no longer functional after a week
You can not replace the battery in these units, and Literally a week after I bought it I am getting the low battery alarm. I have to buy a brand new alarm now. Label says it was made in 2018
