Great for molding crafts and props
This kit is just packed with stuff! When I started unpacking the box I was impressed at the number of useful items in this kit. Besides the two jugs holding the resin and harder, the kit includes: 10 disposable measuring cups marked in US fluid ounces and milliliters, two hard side plastic 500 ml measuring/pouring cups, 2 hard plastic squeegees, 2 hard plastic stir sticks, 10 pairs of individually packaged disposable gloves, 16 packets of colored mica powders, 16 vials of glitter/sequins, instruction sheet, and what can only be described as four long swizzle sticks.I like the fact that the disposable cups are marked both in ounces and milliliters for us folks here in the US. I was impressed with the plastic stir sticks because they are clearly shaped to facilitate scraping but, in the end, I will probably end up using wooden stir sticks that I already have for ease of cleanup. The “swizzle sticks“ that came in the kit are labeled in the listing as “mixing spoons”, but I don’t think I would want them to make contact with the epoxy because they’re more useful as scoops for the dry powders. I actually kinda like the little plastic vials that the glitter/sequins come in. Once they are emptied out, I can see them being useful in other projects. When I first started looking at the instruction sheet, I found that the gold font on the black background was very blurry and hard to read, but it looks like someone along the line figured this out because there are alternate instructions on the back page that have a white font and are much clearer with better language. The resin itself is easy to use with good flow and mixing properties. After mixing the epoxy and hardener for a good three minutes, you have a whopping 40 minutes of work time to pour and spread, which is plenty of time. You can then demold in 8-10 hours for 0.8” at room temperature. Finally, full cure is 36 hours at room temperature (or more in a colder environment). The powders provide excellent color variations for your project. Just the 16 colors provided do a great job plus, with mixing, you can really dial in the desired color. I did not use any of the glitters or sequins, but if you are trying for sparkly effects, they all have a very high reflectivity. Plus the various shapes that they come in can really give your project the custom look that you’re going for.

Great for beginners
I've been working with resin for awhile now and would have to say this epoxy would be more suited for crafting projects such as use in molds, etc. it comes with a lot which is great if you don't have those items starting out. It's easy to use and works well with smaller projects.

Great for a beginner
TIP: If measuring by volume, make sure the resin parts are as equal as possible. This was my first time making anything out of resin. I was impressed by the ease of use and the variety of mix-ins in this kit. Great for a beginner like me. (NOTE: There are no molds included, so find one of your own.) My only issue came when I measured the two parts in separate containers then poured one into the other. This resulted in too little of one component and I had a small amount of uncured resin in the middle of my mold. That was my fault: I would recommend pouring both parts into the same container to remedy this situation. Aside from that, this worked great! I was able to fill a silicone mold and make a neat owl figure. The mold was slightly over-filled, so there was a bit of cleanup work on the back, but otherwise it worked extremely well. I would definitely recommend this kit for a beginner.

High Gloss Resin
Easy to use 1:1 ratio. No bubbles or discoloring. Easy to demold and the finished product is very glossy and makes beautiful pieces.

Great starter kit! Sans molds
As you can see from the photos, I had some issues, but it was my first time making anything out of resin so I'm almost certain it's something I did, or the humidity levels, or something like that. You get plenty of resin to make multiple projects, along with all kinds of stuff to mix in. There's measuring cups too, which is nice. The gloves are kinda worthless though, I'd get nitrile or something. I made a cutting board and a jar, and I made them in the garage on a hot/humid day. It also got cold that night, and I left them in the garage. The next day, the cutting board wasn't fully rigid, and both projects had spots that didn't cure. The cutting board got more rigid after another day, but the sticky uncured parts stayed sticky. I didn't run into any issues with bubbles, as you can see, and the color & sheen were good, I guess. Again, this was my first foray into this hobby, but this kit made it easy to get started. I had fun! Just make sure you get some molds if you're not making your own or using something you already have. This is more of a consumables kit. I'll honestly probably get it again at some point.

beautiful colors and easy to use
We followed the instructions and watched several videos before we used this, since this was my first time working with epoxy. It was easy to mix up, just took a little time. Adding in the different colors went smoothly, although I had trouble choosing which to use. They were all beautiful! We poured out several light switch and electrical switch covers for our new home. There were only a few bubbles, which disappeared quickly. It did take a lot longer for the epoxy to harden than the instructions said. Maybe the heat caused this? I don't know, but will continue to experiment with different kits and see which work the best. It was a lot of fun to pour out the different colors and see what happened. High recommend.
