I bought the Shark cordless stick vac to have something lightweight to clean hard floors without getting out the larger canister vac. This Shark is lightweight, and easy to maneuver. It does a great job of cleaning up dust, dirt, hair, and pet fur. It has three levels of suction. I can do five average size rooms on a single charge on the Eco level, or low. The two higher levels will pick up heavier messes. I like that it’s easy to clean the roller, and the suction from the collection tank empties the vac cleanly. The built in LED lights are also helpful at spotting dirt and dust on the floors. It also works great as a hand vac for furniture and hard to reach places.

This is such a fabulous cordless vacuum. I have a small apartment with vinyl plank and low pile ruggable rugs. Many vacuums suck too hard on ruggable and get almost stuck in place from suction so are worthless. I've tried the Dyson V8 and V12. Dyson's clean like crazy, that's for sure. But they are unwieldy, unbalanced, hard to empty dust bin, small dust bins, no led lights. I think so overrated. This little beauty automatically adjust beautifully between my ruggables and my floor. It has a nice array of led lights. It is lightweight. I've not even experimented with echo and boost as auto works so well. I have a lot of cats. It is great picking up crystal litter, good at getting up pellets, average at picking up dry food so not 100%. But I'm satisfied with hard floor cleaning. I might try to do boost tomorrow. Now we come to the creme de la creme - the self-emptying dust bin. WOW. Just put in on the base and it immediately sucks all the debris in the bin into a nice sized container. I do not have to do a thing except empty that container now and then. And, now this is odd, the Dyson bins would fill up in 3 to 5 minutes. This bin has not filled up and yet my cat hair is gone off the carpet. It is as though the Dyson shreds and separates the hair, somehow multyplying it or spreading it out or something. I'm totally pleased. I don't know how this would be on a high pile carpet.

I really like the freedom of movement of not having a cord. It does encourage me to vacuum more. So I bought this vacuum 4 months ago. I’m still enthralled with the auto-empty feature (although I like to push the button myself). I’m glad I don’t have to empty after every use. I like how easily everything comes apart & is easy to clean. I did buy backup filters for when I clean the others.I was, however, a little frustrated about the small plastic compartment that fills up with dirt and dust (see picture). I called Shark customer support and it was very helpful to be able to do a video call so I could point out what I was talking about (they send you a link). I was told that there was not really a way to remove this piece but my concern was would it inhibit the cleaning or suction? I was told no, that they had not heard of that happening. I believe it because I can’t see any way that it would interfere with suction or removing other dirt. The second concern I had was the plastic flap on top of the handhold part. I felt foolish because it turns out that the flap just comes right off and you have a very nice display with buttons underneath (see picture). I like that I can see the battery life left. Overall, I’m very happy with this vacuum. I was pleased that it was easy to call customer service and ask all the questions that I had.

Love the weight of it, so easy to use and does a good job. Love the self-cleaning feature and motorized head for furniture, etc. Only complaint is that the dust bin gets the sponge filter very dirty each time. It is supposed to be less dust but I'm not sure if that really does the job. Overall, I would buy again.
