Received these on VineCurrently on sale for £59.99I gave these to my brother to fully test out and here is what he said!!Very good shoes! Waterproof, comfortable and stylish. I'm normally a size 9 as I have wide feet (10cm).Most shoes are quite painful, but these are perfect.The insoles are somewhat bouncy and whilst they were painful for the first few days (soles of feet were sore after 6 hours of walking) they got better after a week and now I can comfortably wear them 8 hours a day, 5 days a week on a heavily physical job with near constant walking with ease.The material outside the toe cap has gotten a bit damaged and discoloured from repeated kicking and shoving, but none of the daily abuse got through to my toes. They are a very solid choice in terms of protection.The backs of the shoes are relatively soft and don't rub against my heels at all despite having hardened, irregular growths there, as well as on the sides of my toesI do not yet know how long they will last, but otherwise, they are a wonderful set of shoes! They have not given me any blisters even though I am particularly susceptible to them. I also found that the insoles can be lifted out, replaced, or put back in with extra insoles underneath/on top. I used them with orthopaedic insoles under the insoles that came with the shoes, and those added a bit of an extra bounce and shock absorption.

I ordered size 12 in the trainer for my nephew who has problems getting work shoes due too his size.They came really well packaged with a lot of attention to detail, the makers are clearly proud of their product.This is what he said after using them:He has worn them for several days straight off and they have been comfortable while doing various jobs outside and have proven to be waterproof after a lot of damp weather. Although being fairly weighty they do feel like a trainer.He had no issues with pinch points, chafing etc. There is a decent level of cushioning all round that made them feel comfortable.The sole had a decent amount of grip when walking over rubble and smoother surfaces due to their chunky design. They do offer mid sole puncture protection too as well as toe caps, so should prevent nail penetration as well.He found his feet didn’t get too hot in them either due to the mesh, albeit it does collect a lot of dust on site but he just bangs them off to clear it off.I tried them on myself and they do look really nicely made with a lot of attention to detail. They have the feel of a trainer but are really solid.They do have some weight to them though, weighing 1.590 kilograms on my digital kitchen scales, about the same weight as my walking boots so not too bad.They also conform to EN ISO 20345:2022 S3 SR standards which means they meet the required standard for safety shoes which amongst other things must protect the toes against a 200 joule impact, have corrosion resistant toe caps and slip resistance too. This is a health and safety requirement for him on site.He’s very happy with them in terms of style, performance and comfort.They’re not that cheap though at the current price (£59.99 at the time of the review) but are comparable to a similar spec available at a well known trade outlet. So lose a star. That said they for him they have been very comfortable and do the job well.

I got these shoes for my partner as she often helps me with various heavy DIY jobs around the house and I was concerned that she might get something heavy dropped on her feet.These safety trainers are perfect for her. They are light weight for a safety shoe ( 600g per shoe , UK size 7 ) and are as well padded as a trainer. The protective steel toe cap offers ample protection for ones toes and is double stitched, so should negate the issue of the outer protection peeling off.The body of the shoe is a fine mesh which has a rubber type feel to it, so they should dry nicely if they get wet.The sole offers plenty of grip for slipper conditions and anti static qualities.The inner sole for the shoe has ample arch support, this is especially important as she suffers with Plantar fasciitis.Overall these a really good pair of safety trainers, which are not too clunky and can be used for a variety of situations.

My son has been wearing these as he seems to go through pairs regularly. Hopefully these will last. For a pair of safety shoes they are quite stylish which makes a nice change. My son is very happy so far. He says they are really comfy to wear and they are a good fit. Decent price and time will tell if they last.

I've tried several pairs of safety trainers and they've all been functional. None have been as comfortable as normal trainers, though. Though on the pricier side - versus what I've come to expect - these are great. They're not totally perfect; for instance, they are a little heavier than I'd ideally like. However, the foam the manufacturer has used makes them almost bouncy. They also have great tread, so you shouldn't find them at all slippery. Excellent!

These are a great looking pair of safety shoes/trainers. The soles have a deep tread for excellent grip, and the insoles have a memory-foam feel which is very comfortable. The exterior is a breathable mesh which is good.I ordered size UK 11. The Euro size given is 46, which in my understanding is a UK 12. However, they fit true to size as an 11.For all the good points they are quite heavy compared to others I’ve had in the past. Not so heavy that it’s unbearable, but definitely noticeable.

I needed some comfortable shoes for work where I do a lot of running around. I liked these shoes because they are trainers with steel toe caps. The toe caps are a terrific addition at work in case something gets dropped on my foot which can happen. I have always wondered if it is possible to have comfortable trainers with steel toe caps. These shoes are the answer, and they are high quality as well. Incredibly pleased with these shoes.
