You, Me, Her: An unputdownable psychological thriller with a heart-stopping twist

Tense and twisty tale!
Three people. One marriage. One murder.Rebecca is finally moving from Manchester to a fabulous new home by the coast in Cornwall with husband Tom and their young son Sam. Tom has been working on the house to get it just how they want it, they could only afford this extravagant home due to the inheritance she gained when her father passed away and that is a bittersweet pill for her to swallow. She makes friends with Chloe who, on the surface, seems lovely but Tom keeps warning her that Chloe is dangerous, what is it about these two and why did Tom really want to make this move? You Me Her is centred around the three main characters; Rebecca, Tom and Chloe. When Rebecca first arrives in Cornwall everything seems fine, she loves the house and what Tom has done to it and can't wait to make it their forever home, but then Chloe appears on the scene, Tom introduces her as the estate agent that helped him find the house, but then warns Rebecca to stay away from her, not long after strange things start to happen, that nobody can explain. I found Tom to be a rather odd character who didn't like anyone Rebecca was linked to, none more so than Rosa, who had been Rebecca's best friend since nursing her father through his illness, although the feeling seemed to be completely reciprocated, but the piece de resistance was the surprise Tom presented her with which sent her spiralling back to the nightmare of her past, why would he do that to her? This latest thriller by Watson is, as her previous thrillers, a fast paced read with lots of twists and turns that I found really hard to put down once I'd started reading and, even though I guessed about two chapters from the end, what the outcome was going to be, this in no way spoilt my enjoyment of this tense and twisty tale that had me on the edge of my seat throughout. Watson is firmly cemented as one of my go to authors now and I can't wait to see what she delivers next!

Fast paced, tension packed thriller
Wow, this book is so good! Sue Watson is one of my favourite go to authors and this one was a belter!Rachel and Tom and their young son, Sam, have moved into a beautiful new house on the Cornish coast with money left to Rachel by her father. Tom has been renovating the house, while Rachel sells their old flat in Manchester. Although Rachel has her doubts, things seem idyllic until she meets Chloe, their estate agent. Initially striking up a friendship, Rachel soon begins to suspect that Chloe is not all she seems and when Chloe makes a confession, Rachel finds herself not knowing who she can trust....I absolutely love stories with unreliable narrators or characters and this was so cleverly done. Chloe appears completely unhinged, but is she just desperate for a friend? The underlying tension and menace builds throughout the story and I couldn't stop turning the pages. The ends of several chapters actually made me gasp out loud! The Cornish seaside setting and the beautiful house was beautifully captured, as was Rachel's increasing unease and fear as the book progresses. To say any more would spoil it, suffice to say, just read it now! Highly recommended, as are all of Sue's books.

A compelling story with a twist
I was gripped from the moment as soon as I started reading. Definitely it is a page turner. I didn’t predict the twist at the end. A great read!

Found it oh so slow
I found this book very frustrating, and not that believable. I found myself yelling 'change the locks for heavens sake' I'd have done it after the first incident. For me who reads many thrillers and police procedural, this was a little thin. I accept that's it's a domestic thriller, and I accept the the main character has 'issues' but found myself 'wading through it'I managed to get to the end, gratefully.Nor for me. but it was free with Joffe books so I apologise for the negative review.

Predictable but enjoyable
I enjoyed this book. It's the first one I've read by this author so will definitely look out for more of her books.I guessed the final twist about halfway through but I still wanted to read to the end.

A good read
Not one of her best books for me. Interesting story, but I guessed all of it , the outcome. So, no surprises for me. Love her books but this one didn't really do it for me.

First time reader...
I have went back and forth in my head with what I really believed was happening. One of my 10 guesses was correct... but I was still shocked. Off to try this author out for a second time@

I don't know what to say about this book . . .
I disliked Rachael beginning on page 1. Shortly thereafter, Tom began to feel "slimey" to me. I couldn't believe that, throughout book, Rachael was so out of touch with reality (only one thing was a total surprise to me). I got the picture early on, including the last page. Did I read the book in its entirety? Yes. Am I going to read another book by Sue Watson? Yes.
