The switch worked perfectly
Every u-tube video I’ve watched would show TVs with multiple A/V outlets. Mine only has a Video (green/yellow)/PB/PR and Audio L(W) and R(R) Component AV IN. So, anything they mentioned wasn’t going to work for me. But, after searching I came across one website that noted if you have multiple devices you may need an A/V switch. Well that was the answer to my prayer, so I purchased the Fosmon 3-way. Once I received the Fosmon 3-way, it took me a few seconds to figure out how to plug everything in to get my VCR and DVD to work. Sure enough it worked like a charm. Each of my Pansonic VCR and Sony DVD surround system are over 20 years old, so if you are like me and about to give up hope. Rest assure, this switch works. Below are the steps I took:For the VCR, I took the Y/W/R cable and connected to the output on the back of my VCR (see pic 1) and the other end I plugged the Y/W/R in the back of the Input 2 on the switch. For the DVD, I took the Red and White cables only and connected to the “Component Output” Audio R(Red)/L (White) on the back of the DVD (see pic 2), and then connected the Red and White cable to the Input 1 on the switch. Then I needed to connect the video to the switch, on the back of my DVD labelled “Monitor Out” (pic 4 )with a yellow connector. So, I used a single yellow cable and plugged in the back of the DVD labelled “Monitor Out” and connected the other end into the video slot on input 1.Then I took another Y/W/R cable and plugged into the output on the switch and then plugged the other end of the cable into the back of the TV labelled Video (green/yellow), Audio L(White) and R(Red) (see pic 3). Do not connect to PB or PR. It won’t work for the VCR. Now, I was ready to test my devices. For the VCR, I made sure Input 2 was selected on the Fosmon. I turned on my TV and VCR, I pushed the source button on my TV remote and tabbed over and clicked on the AV switch to see if I get the blue screen and channel 3. I did….yeah….I placed a VHS tape into the VCR and clicked play. I watched the old version of “Journey to the Center of the Earth” this weekend and the picture and audio was perfect. Next, for the DVD, I selected Input 1 on the Fosmon. I turned on my DVD surround system and TV. I pushed the function button on the DVD remote and selected DVD and selected AV from the TV. The TV showed the DVD display screen. So, I was happy. I placed a DVD on the tray and selected play on the DVD player. I watched “The Net” and again the picture and audio was perfect. I hope this information helps. One final thing, my TV, VCR and DVD are all plugged into an APC surge protector. Karyn

Wire stripper
The only complaint I have is that there are no instructions with it. But it does strip copper wires well. I have used it on very small to medium wire so far.

It does it and that's all I need.
It's cheap enough, didn't need nothing fancy and it works. Got tired of plugging and unplugging . So all I have to do now is use the switch. Makes it easy, I'm for that 100% of the time. I just wish the switch was further spaced between lines. A small quibble, not worth a star deduction. This is the 3 lined switch, and if you have RCA connections, keep it simple.

The weak point is the slide switch.
This review is for the "Fosmon A1602 RCA Splitter with 3-Way Audio, Video RCA Switch Box + RCA Cable for Connecting 3 RCA Output Devices to Your TV". Except for one thing this is a well designed product at a very affordable price point. I returned mine because the 2nd switch position did not work. The truth is I would have returned it anyway because of how that switch is constructed. Even though there is room enough for the switch to travel a respectable distance of about 3/4" (even 1/4 - 1/2" would do) it only moves about 1/16" in total across all three positions. As I said, I returned the device and spent a little bit more on Amazon's reccomendation of "Panlong 4-Way AV Switch RCA Switcher 4 in 1 Out Composite Video L/R Stereo Audio Selector Box for DVD STB Game Consoles". This unit has one extra input series (four in all) and positions are selected by push buttons vs that terrible slide switch. Note that it does NOT come with an RCA output cable as does the Fosman.
