Effective and easy to use
I am not a commercial workshop but have many personal pieces of equipment with grease fittings, probably over 50 fittings in total. The application of Greece as it relates to connecting the grease gun to the fitting is one thing, but as mentioned previously how many fittings you have to do, also needs to be taken into consideration but, don't forget that not every greaseable item uses the same amount of grease. So in some cases if you're just throwing some grease in that's one thing, but on things that use a large amount of grease, from time to time it's a good idea to push out all of the old grease so considerably more volume is necessary which equals lots and lots of pumping of a manual Grease gun. This is a high quality tool that is very effective, has good battery life, is easy to use, and is powerful, something most folks don't think about. This gun also has a good quality, appropriate length hose. This is a great tool, not an expensive, but well well worth the investment. The only thing I did differently was to replace the standard fitting head, with one that can be locked onto the fitting.

Lemon?
Saw seems really well made. I bought it based on the name and the positive reviews on Amazon. Maybe I just got a lemon...? The saw just stopped in the middle of the second cut the first time I used it. I did a few checks for the obvious - LED light still works so not a power cord problem, etc. I went on Milwaukee's site and found a local tool place which was listed as an authorized repair center. Took it over there and left it. Got a call the next day telling me to come pick it up. They said there is something seriously wrong with it and to send it back to Milwaukee. They also made quite a few negative remarks about Milwaukee's quality, etc since they apparently were bought out a few years ago. I asked them if they were an authorized repair center and they said yes yet I never got an explanation as to why they couldn't just repair it. Anyway, now I have to send it back to Milwaukee to have it repaired. Hopefully it will happen without any more hassle. I'm just really disappointed since I thought I was buying a quality tool and when I needed it it failed completely.Edit 7/23/16 - My experience with Milwaukee's repair was very good - quick, they sent shipping labels, etc. Since I got it back I've used it quite a lot - mostly in a SWAG portaband table. I have never had another problem with it and it is working well so I added three stars to my original review.

Like a sawz-all, but without the drama.
After watching a contractor cut through 5/8th steel rod with ease one day, I realized I'd been working way too hard with sawz-alls over the years and it was time for a portable band saw. I was tempted to purchase a lithium ion, or some other cordless version of a hand held saw, but realized with a small lightweight portable inverter generator, I had a little red "power box" with basically unlimited use, that could go anywhere, do anything, and run as long as I need to. I've used it for hours upon hours with a Honda EU inverter generator, and haven't wished it was cordless ever. Having "plug in" power with a squeeze of a trigger is great, and with 1 gallon of gasoline giving me 12 hours of generator run time, that beats 100 lithium ion batteries! This Milwaukee is built like a tank. I've dropped it, it fell in to a trench, and it's taken abuse, and keeps on working. It's a little heavy, but that's a good thing because you want the weight of the saw to do the cutting. The variable speed is really nice, and the trigger action is smooth. The only downside to this is that it will only cut something 4.5 inches in diameter. I initially didn't think this was a big deal, but when you have a saw like this that will basically cut anything, given enough time, you tend to use it everywhere, for everything. And eventually you will want to cut it. Wood, plastic, steel, cable, I've cut it all. And you will reach a point when you say "Oh, this would cut it, if it just would fit!" It will basically cut anything. In our fab shop, this saw has replaced the large liquid cooled saw for most fabrication work. It's just that handy. I recommend buying an extra pack of blades and keeping them in the case with the saw. Again, as a portable band saw newbie, I started out with lots of teeth per inch, out of fear that I would wear out blades for not having enough teeth, but now don't like anything over 10... it simply takes too long to make cuts and I've become so spoiled by this saw. The blades basically last 10X longer than any sawz-all blade would, and unlike a sawz all, there's no excitement or drama, it's just a precise, smooth, QUIET, boring cut, time and time again.

Well made - great purchase.
High quality tool. Really like the case too (it fits extra blades). I purchased this to use a both a portable and stationary band saw (using a SWAG band saw mount designed specifically for this model). I've only used it in the portable configuration so far, but I am extremely happy with the performance. The LED work light is a nice bonus too.On the down side, it does not come with a blade. I purchased a Milwaukee 3 pack from amazon (18 TPI)...but that review only got 3 stars (blades had high spots - but they cut well).

Lots of plastic
Would have given it a 5 had it been built with the metal all the old ones were, while it runs great, time will tell if the excessive amount of plastic in these will survive.

It Just Doesn't Get Any Better
I've been using porta-bandsaws for 51 years and have seen how they've gotten better as the years go by.Milwaukee is the gold standard. It handles well, the blade stays where it's supposed to and with this being a deep cut saw, it means you cut all the way through a section of 4" pipe without having to relocate the saw.The case is also great. My previous saw was stolen from my backyard from person or persons who thought that my stuff would look better in their encampment. Ordering a replacement immediately was a no-brainer.The only negative is that when you spend this kind of money, they ought to throw in at least one blade so you can go to work right out of the box.
