As a Professional DM running around 14 games a month, I sometimes get time with no chance to prep. This book is an absolute godsend for moments like that!! Each one-shot can be read and understood in like 5 minutes. Key locations/NPCs and goals. I've run multiple from it. My favourite 2 are Bullette Proof and A Dog's Dinner.Fantastic value for money/ great artwork/ very well made.

If you want a quick one shot for a D & D campaign or even a side quest for a long running arc this book is awesome for them right from level 1’s and noobs all the way to high skilled season players get it, got it, good 👍🏻

I’m a brand new DM, so I was looking for some quick resources to get in to the swing of the world of TTRPGs, this book fits the bill perfectly. I’ve run five campaigns out of it now, all only in one session each. This was by design as I wanted to test them out, I’m planning a larger campaign now and honestly any of them could be stretched out or combined with others to make a full year long campaign adventure. The layout of the book provides information easily and quickly for reference.The only negative I can think of is that I would say each one-shot is about 60% there, you have to provide the other 40%. This has taken the form for me of adding in some more random encounters, more npcs, self made maps etc. however this has also helped improve my planning as a DM for running a larger game. If your someone who like to improvise then this book works even better, just have a quick glance and start. Or if you’re already in the middle of a different campaign and you want to pepper in some side quests, flick to any section (the book is laid out in to sections like snow, coast, city etc) that fits and pick a story to add in.

Now I just need more people to run DnD games with lol

I bought this as a gift for my brother who loves it, a great resource for DMs. The quality of the book & illustrations are beautiful.

This book helped me so much! I'm still new at DMing for my friends and this makes it so easy to prep a quick game and learn how to build a good encounter. I still need to look up more stats for the creatures at times but that's easy. Absolutely would recommend, especially to new DMs or people who want to try DMing
