Complete System (2 packages) NOT sent together
The media could not be loaded. For a start I received one package with half the system, on the box was printed 2 packages '' please wait for both pkgs before assembly'' in English and German? So I queried this with the seller , to find out that the other part should arrive in 2 days.NOPE - an update said in another 7 days. What is the point of stating 2 days delivery when in total it will have taken 10 days and why not get it altogether? You cannot even fit the mounting pole into the prepared footing as it is in the 2nd pkg.Anyway I made a temporary stand to mount the main framework and actuators, after counting off the parts in the 1st pkg.PROS - solid well made frame sections with additional inserts in sections with high forces, fool proof connections ( if wired internally correctly)Waterproof seals for cables and cover on the controller.CONS - large chip in paint coating,No endcaps for sections to stop corrosion around bolt holes, complete kit didn't arrive together,Manual still not exactly correct, power cable too thin and long for a max of 15Amps (fused)Controller display gets corrupted or crashes, this does not stop the proper operation but you have to powercycle the unit to clear it to make any adjustments.- to be investigated if surges to the actuators are causing it with the very thin / long power supply cable or its a firmware BUG.Either way this needs correctingThe mounting rails for the panels are also in the other pkg!Pretty simple assembly, the manual was correct (from previous manual , i heard)But the manual does not show which way to fit the E/W rotation Bar, (B rod) it has 4 holes at one end which should be towards North, (in northern hemisphere) this is where the extension arm for the E/W actuator is fitted. The bolt to pivot the frame N/S is a huge M14 Hex socket Bolt (rather than a Screw, as it is partially threaded)All the square box sections are heavy/solid powder coated? enamelled white.I did find a big chip missing on one of the B lugs exposing the metal to corrosion, so that will have to be corrected. All the main screws are stainless steel M10 hex socket with flanged nut.So the main frame less mounting rails was fixed to the temporary stand and all wiring (plug and play) in place with a 12v lead acid cell ready to connect. One thing I noticed , that would have finished off the framework, is NO endcaps for the square section. Water will run through the openings and settle around where bolts pass through and add to corrosion of the section over time.Testing manual motion found that everything was connected correctly. The Wind/Sun time values for setting the Frame flat were made.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Test the night/dark mode...In tracking mode - after the time out for sun level OK, the Frame started tracking the sun, then cover the sun sensor. After the time value of low sun completes the Frame will first move all the way E , then towards the W until level,The frame then moves towards the N all the way to level (it does not tilt toward the N in the northern hemi).Remove the sun covering and after the set time, the frame tracks the sun again. To test the high wind speed function, the max wind speed setting should be set very low.with the frame tracking, spin the anemometer until the high wing function kicks in (you may need to lower the wind wait settings for this) - the frame will return back to flat.Reset the settings you changed back to the default, indicated on the controller cover. The backlight can be timed off or continually on, i found. press and hold Cancel button > 6 seconds to toggle - there is no indication that this procedure is set apart from the backlight.I now await the rest of the kit to mount on the concrete footing. The video was done on a hazy cloud day no sun visible, so it was tracking the brightest part of the sky
