way better than sandpaper and elbow grease
If you have ever been sanding a project by hand and thought “There has got to be a better way” then, like me, this kit is for you. The kit came with everything needed to get going except for an air compressor and blasting media. Besides the pistol grip portion with an QD air nipple, also included is the jar feeder with siphon cap, the straw siphon with hose, metal tube, and goggles as well as an instruction sheet. These instructions are clear and easy to understand with black & white photos and illustrations.Setup is also a breeze. I would highly recommend using some teflon plumbers tape when attaching the air nipple to the bottom of the pistol grip handle to make sure you get a good seal. I would not want to put my trust solely on the friction of the threads to keep the air in. Next, if you are using the jar, you just fill it 2/3 to 3/4 with your blasting media ( I have fine grit sand) and screw the siphon on with the pistol grip valve attached and start blasting.Of course, you need to put on eye protection and, in my opinion, the included safety glasses are not sufficient. I have sealed goggles for this purpose that make contact all the way around the eyes. The nice thing about this kit is that you also have the option of using a siphon hose to draw media from an external source. this makes the “business end” of the process more compact for tight spaces such as a blasting cabinet.Even if you already have a full sized sand blaster, this fills a gap that you may not have even noticed was there. Large blasters can be overkill for a lot of smaller projects and the micro sized air brush style blasters are only designed for the finest applications. this fits in that spot in between quite nicely.I have not tried to use baking soda for blasting yet but I have heard that it can have a niche set of applications that I intend to explore soon.All-in-all, I think this is a great addition to most shops.

Cleans up cast iron!
I collect cast iron skillets and other pans but a lot of them from flea markets and old barns are covered with rust. This little sand blaster is perfect for cutting through years of accumulation and getting them back to their beautiful just-cast state, ready for seasoning. It does the job quickly and easily using my large compressor. I'm not sure it would work well with a lower-powered compressor, but, at any rate it works well for me!

Works Well
I was able to use this sand blaster to good effect. I haven't exactly needed it for rust removal yet. It has served more as a cleaner/texturizer. It worked great for that purpose. I am sure it would remove rust just as easily. In terms of usability, it was incredibly simple. Pour some abrasive in the bin, screw it onto the gun, connect air, be happy. No instructions were required, as it was quite intuitive.I think it is a solid value at its price point. I don't think it would serve all too well as a daily shop tool, but for occasional use, it seems great. I say that because it doesn't feel particularly sturdy or durable. However, it seems plenty durable for my needs. I tinker with little projects around the house. I rarely need a sand blaster, but do enjoy the option when it is needed. I suspect that this will last me a number of years. That is a win to me. If you're a pro user, you may want to look elsewhere and invest more for durability and repairability. Users like myself may be quite satisfied with this tool. I am.

Works great
This little sandblaster works great just make sure you have a compressor with enough cfm to push it. So far I've used it with walnut shell abrasive for effortless paint removal on wood and also with aluminum oxide on a truck frame to remove rust. It's well made easy to use and fairly comfortable to use. I also like that you can use it without the container and just go straight in the bucket.

Works great!
This really works great!! Make sure your media is dry or you will have issues, other than that, I love this thing. So simple and easy, but works great.I have used this to completely strip my driveway light pole and repaint it. This made it a breeze! I have other devices for sand blasting and they are a PITA to use. this is super easy and works better than the others I have tried.

Small but powerful
This little blaster works hard! I was pretty impressed how easy it is to use and how well it works. Made my cleaning job a breeze. I'm not sure how well it works on a small compressor so make sure you have a big one to power behind it! Love the accessories and how well it is made. Worked great! Good buy
