I can't attest to how fireproof this binder actually is because I didn't set it on fire to test it (!), but even if it doesn't end up being fireproof, it's still useful. It's a really good idea to have all your paper documents protected (be sure to photograph all your documents first and also keep a safe digital file just in case) and in one place where you can grab them easily in case you have to evacuate due to disaster. I don't like to punch holes in official documents, so I appreciate the pockets on the inside covers where I can secure those documents without holes. I put important things in this binder, then put the binder in a fireproof cabinet - having lived through two wildfires already, I'm not taking any chances. This binder helps give me organization and peace of mind.

Seems to be a good quality fireproof binder. I’m going to test it before putting any documents in it but trying a lighter on it to see how it does. I’ll update when I get around to doing that. But otherwise it seems sturdy and has lots of room inside for all your important documents.

This is one sturdy binder.I love the size and it will fit a considerable size, like many important documents. I like the quality and it feels like it would last quite a while. Perfect for grabbing and go in an emergency. Overall, the quality is great and I will recommend this.

Zipper was very hard to use.

I like the product however, the rings are too weak. The zippers get stuck in the open position so I have to send this back.

However, the inside rings don’t close properly, causing the plastic sheets to fall out. I’m not sure if I was just unlucky with a defective one, or if this is a common issue.”

This is a great binder for important documents. There is a folder on the front and back for misc items. There is a lot of room in the binder to be able to break out the categories in whatever way is needed. The zipper seals all the way around to keep out water or fire. This is a great upgrade from my previous binder.

I’m excited about devices that can help make it MORE likely that your important documents can survive a disaster. I like that this 3 ring binder is large enough to safely store more of these documents together. I like that it is a D ring binder and that it is compatible with sheet protectors. I would still layer my protection using bags that are waterproof because I have concerns about the ability of water to get into a zipper. I like that there are two inside pockets and that there are dual zippers to place a lock. I wish there was one of those levers to open the rings. Overall, I think this is intended to buy you time to get to your precious keepsakes not to make them indestructible. It were made out of material like the ‘black box’ it would be unaffordable. It appears to be fireproof and waterproof and keep your items safer.
