Well I'm divided too. It looks like the purple makes the grey look green . But if you go back and forth between black and grey and purple and grey it looks like it's....... purple and grey.

Q: is the cross removable ?

The cross of hat can be removed.

Q: Who is crocheting these mass produced hats? there is no such thing as a crochet machine. sweat shop? exploitation? or not crochet?

I ordered this hat last winter i believe and I do not think these are made in a sweatshop. My hat was very nice and i believe it was made with a sewing machine and the stitching in the hat was so exact and similar the "crochet" looked like it was made from a machine. i do not think these are cheaply made or made by over worked ppl like in factory like Shein. i think that these might be knitted??? i think there are such things as machine made knitting. i am not sure however. despite so many of these hats being made, they are good quality. hope this was helpful
