These lightbulbs work well. They are very convenient to have. I like that I can’t change the colors. And if I forget to turn the light off I can just use the remote.

The "Clapper" has nothing on these lights! The remote worked with the bulbs right out of the box without having to "match" the bulbs to the remote. The bulbs do not have WiFi capabilities. There is a magnet built into the remote so you can hang the remote on metal surfaces. The various light modes that are available with the bulbs will satisfy most people's preference and/or situational needs. The bulbs worked perfect in all the light outlets that I tried them in and I did not encounter any flickering. The remote has incredible range and could literally control the bulbs from a whole other level in my house with multiple walls in the way. With that in mind, the lights will work best when used in the same room/device (ie. as the description says; three-headed floor lamps, 3-Light Bathroom Light fixture, ceiling fan with lights, etc.). It is convenient to not have to get out of bed to turn the light off and the remote will even do it for you by using the 1hr timer. After having the convenience of these bulbs & remote, it would be hard to not always have them around, so I hope the bulbs last for awhile.

I got these lights for a fixture that would be impractical to add a dimmer switch to. The description makes it sound like they are completely variable in the color and brightness ranges. In reality, there are 6 color settings and 8 brightness levels. The color levels are fine, although I would rather it go down to 2700K and skip the 6000K setting (for home lighting, I find the higher settings much too harsh for any use). The biggest problem is the dimming range. The lowest setting is fairly dim, but I don't think it is the advertised 1%. Also, the settings need more steps in the lower range. It goes from dim to a little brighter, to fairly bright. The differences in brightness levels at the high end are only somewhat noticeable. There should be a better balance in the steps of the brightness range.The bottom line is that the do work, and being able to dim a light that previously could not be dimmed is a good thing. I just wished they optimized the range settings better.
