Helps SO MUCH with loading, I can't load a full magazine without it!
I bought the MakerShot Magazine Speed Loader for my Smith & Wesson M&P9 Shield pistol. The magazine can hold 8 bullets, but I can only get about 4 or 5 in before it becomes impossible for me to load any more. I wanted to get something simple to help me load the last few bullets and this little loader does the trick!I am not a gun expert by any means, but I did a lot of research before buying my pistol. Everything was perfect about it except for the fact that I couldn't load it without breaking my fingers in the process. This loader helped TREMENDOUSLY. It is small, light-weight and easy to transport, a fair price, and has saved me so much time/effort at the gun range. Thanks to this, I can actually load a full magazine. If you are looking for a simple gun loader that works well, I would recommend buying this one. It has worked very well for me over the years.Hope this helps!

Nice simple loader
Works great on KelTec P16 magazine loading 16 rounds of .22

A little pricey for what it is
The product works, but a pinch trickier than you'd expect. It sure beats using your fingers and I don't know if you can really improve upon the issue of having the loader block the round you're loading, besides having two different tabs so you can release the back tab as a front tab pushes down and back to finish the job. The loader can even shoot a round out of the magazine. (The reviews claiming it doesn't fit obviously received the wrong product. If it doesn't fit your magazine, return it.)But having a double press would raise the price quite a bit, perhaps more than double. I know prices have gotten out of control in the year 2024, but $17 for a single piece of plastic seems too much. It feels like great quality plastic, but still. I'd still rather buy this than those 3D printed knock offs.Lastly, I think it could use a different form so you can grip it easier. If you have your pointer and middle fingers on each side of the magazine mouth and your thumb/palm on the base plate, it can be used without pressing down onto a table, or you can thumb under the magazine and press from the top with your fingers. Or you can palm the base plate and pull down the top with your finger and thumb. But no matter how you hold it, the surfaces just don't seem adequate to matching the hand, just slippery smooth surfaces with no dedicated finger grips. The ledges could at least be wider.Maybe I'm nit picking a little too much, but I just expected a bit better user experience with this product. It's almost right, but not quite there yet. I just want the shape of the device to take a different form really. I don't care if it's a little tricky to use in operation. I just think it should be better to grip and maybe a few dollars less.

It worked perfect!
This robust tool makes loading much easier. It’s still not as easy as using a strip feeder that I use on rifle mags, but it certainly does save the fingertips.

Perfect position of cartridge.
This works flawlessly for an FN 5.7 MRD in that it positions the cartridge PERFECTLY on the magazine, preventing from manually placing it too far aft which gets it stuck requiring you to push it forward. I liked it so much I just ordered two more for my other pistols. Well-made and very durable!

Not easy to use
Don't like how hard it is to load with this loader. Have a different brand for my handgun and it works great. Should have bought the same one for this gun. Next time

The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly
This is a great tool, and I definitely recommend it, but there are some caveats:I purchased this for a Sig Sauer P365XL. I had several brand new magazines and this would not work! After several youtube searches to find a video that really explained how the device works I determined that the new magazines were to blame. The springs were simply to stiff so I found a thin blunt device I could use to press down on the middle of a cartridge (the handle of a letter opener) that complimented the enormous amount of pressure the speed loader allows to be exerted on the back of the cartridges. Once I figured out the process I was able to load 4 out of 5 new magazines with relative ease. The fifth magazine would not allow more than three rounds despite all the mechanical leverage the speed loader helps with so I ended up disassembling the magazine, resolved whatever manufacturing issue was related to the spring being incorrectly installed, and then was able to successfully load the 5th magazine to capacity. Then I figured "Welp I have another gun, Springfield Armory XDS9, and by their very nature 9mm magazine must be reasonably similar so why not try the speed loader on them?" I grabbed several magazines that are well used (and double stack to boot) and the speed loader worked as well as it does in the most complimentary manufacturer videos which means I expect that after the new P365 magazines get a bit more worn I won't need a special process to load them anymore. :-) No, the fit on the XDS9 mags wasn't as perfect but it didn't matter. In the end this is a great tool that makes loading magazines a much simpler process and eliminates thumb pain.

DON'T BUY IT'S A WASTE OF YOUR MONEY
DON"T PURCHASE THE MAKERSHOP MAGAZINE SPEED LOADER FOR .22 LR - Ruger Mark I/II/III/IV. It's a waste of your money and too expensive to return if not satisfied.IMPORTANT MUCH BETTER TO BUY the Hilljak Quickie Loader – Red, Ruger Mark II, III, IV, LR22 magazine loader that is most efficient and well made

Accurate Product
Very fast shipping, got it before expected delivery. Item as described, very good quality 👍🏻

Tight
Fits to tight

Mediocre
You have to literally move every single shell into the magazine after inserting into the loader. This extra step defeats the speed loading purpose.
