Setting up two curtain poles 2 meters long on the same wall separated by a 1.5 meters gap or putting a curtain track at the same height round a bay window with an uneven ceiling. Both very tough for my DIY skillsThe line? Perfect to the mm and saved me hours and hours and hours.Seriously everyone should have a laser level, don’t know about other levels at all 'cos I only bought this one. Comes with a little bag and a separate clamp. Buy one for your kids when they get married, might save a few divorces.

Poor quality case, made out fabric and not a box, and it is a loose fit in that too, with no room for the clamp and that could go missing in a tool kit.It is not that heavy and comes with a built-in spirit level that is handy for setup.Reasonable tool, ok for the occasional use but I don't think is it robust enough for site work.

So so its good but laser line can be hard to see unless room is darkened .Seems to work well other than that

I chose this level because of the Stanley name and the bracket device, I have not been disappointed.The unit itself is a solid very well made device with simple use, highly tactile with the feel of a cube tennis ball. It feels solid and well protected from accidental drops.The bracket device is however a brilliant piece of design, heavy quality plastic it has almost infinate adjustment to fit to any position and clamps easily into the side of a 45mm timber. In a world dominated by bad design and construction it is a joy to discover the opposite.All in all an excellent product and I highly recommend it.

An amazing little bit of kit , really handy and compact , we use it for all sorts of jobs , from ceiling ties , tiling , lining up a run of down lights ,It’s just brilliant 👍👍
