I needed to replace the screens on my apartment balcony because my cat had ripped one of them. Not only was the mesh screen perfect for replacing that old screen, but it was also plenty of material and it was easy to use and install! I will be ordering more in case I need to replace more panels, but this was great material and I definitely recommend this product!

The edges are not cut smoothly along the weave. Not a negative, just a warning to install by the weave and not an edge or people with OCD are going to want to straighten out the crooked lines. At least that is what my bystanders said while "helping".The mesh seems to be better than what I'd been getting at the local big box stores. When I accidentally used the oversized metal roller on this mesh, it didn't cut and tear. Now I'm hoping this mesh also lasts better (no fading, not getting brittle). I'm sure the dog will continue to check that by bumping into the screen regularly. The new mesh hasn't been in long enough to know if it will develop a nose impression like the old mesh.As always, cut with a sharp blade. I thought I was, but this mesh, while easy to trim, had enough resistance that it redirected my not-so-sharp blade a few times, leaving a few ragged places to trim.The generous sizing gave me more than enough for the screen door and some window screens. I'd get this again next time I need screen mesh.

The product photo shows this screen in roll form. This is false. It comes folded in a bag, which means there are creases on it. It is loosely folded, so if you stretch the screen on the frame well, then you can probably eliminate the creases. It's black, so it will darken your windows some. Be sure to work with this outside, because there's an awful chemical smell that comes off it when you unfold it.

This screen is folded rather than rolled (as shown in the advertisement, so you will have to work out the fold line. It has a bit of stretch to it, so the folds are not difficult to work out when installing. It is easier to install than aluminum screen.Because it stretches, watch your grid lines as you install to keep it straight and looking great.I like the color of it and it is Much easier to see through than my old screen. It really cleared up my view!It seems like pretty good quality, but be aware that it is not as animal resistant as aluminum. Cats and dogs claws can damage it fairly easily.It is a cheap and easy way to replace aged screens and the price point is good.

I have never re-screened my door although it was long over due. My oldest made sure the task had to be done when he accidentally made a giant hole through.You don't need any special tools really to install, but does make the quality of work much easier. Be sure to not cut it to the exact size. After you fully install and put in the spline have it properly tensioned to have a nice tight screen, you just cut off the excess. Doesn't take long to install, but do take time for it to look nice. The quality of the screen is nice, but isn't cut resistant. Overall, got the job done and looked really good for first try.

Replacing the screen in a screen door is always going to be a pain in the neck, but with this product it won’t be a pain in the pocketbook. I was hoping this screen door mesh would be comparable to the more expensive type sold by big box stores. Instead, it’s better. The first picture shows my husband holding up this product in the open doorway where the screen door would be. The second shows the view from the back door the way it is now with the screen that needs to be replaced. The difference in clarity is amazing! At 48” x 118” there’s than enough screen for the average door. The mesh seems easy to work with and durable. If there are unexpected problems after our screen door is fixed. I will edit this review, but so far the only way we could be more pleased is if it came with the spline needed to install it.
