This is a great mug. Its all metal construction, other than the lid which is heavy plastic. It will keep your drink cold for a long time. My only slight complaint is you need to be sure to screw down the lid nice and tight, if not it can leak a little bit. Overall, great mug. Recommended.

Bought these for my son and husband. They are thoroughly enjoying using them. They are quite durable and haven't had any leaks from them.

I’ve had this thing for months and it has taken some abuse. It fell off the sidewalk of my 3/4 ton trucks a couple of times and except for a few drops spilled during the actual “traumas”, no real physical damage.

We love our cups except my husband's lid needs replaced and I can't find any replacement parts. Other than that I would have given this 5 stars.

My old Contigo to-go cup had developed a strange smell and taste because of the way the water can get trapped when the cup is put in the dishwasher, so I decided to try a couple of different brands/types. The LocknLock Metro Travel Mug is, first, unnecessarily large. though it does have a smaller bottom so that it fits in my car's cup holder. However, the opening where you drink is positioned strangely so that it is awkward to hold it by the handle and drink. The photos of the product show it both as it is, with the opening across from the handle, meaning one cannot hold it by the handle and drink but, instead, must wrap one's hand around the smaller end; and positioned on the side, which would allow it to be held by the handle when drinking. If you move the opening to the side position, the lid is not secure, allowing liquid to leak as you drink. This "problem" is not insurmountable, i.e., you can put your hand around the bottom and hold it that way when you drink, but it would be ideal if it allowed the opening to be positioned on the side where you could hold it by the handle. That's my reason for giving it only three stars.

I really like this tumbler and it keeps my coffee warm all morning. Truth is, I have to add two ice cubes when I first make the coffee or it is too hot to drink in the car on my commute.However, I have been using this daily for a few months and the rubber gasket has stretched and continues to come off every time I open the lid to wash it and change to water later in the day. It’s annoying and i cannot find any replacements.If not for the rubber gasket stretch, it would be a solid 4.5!! Nothing is ever perfect! Enjoy!
