The solder seal wires does exactly the job needed. I used the smallest blue one to connect four stripped 5v wires between my led sensor and led light strips. You have to heat both the sealing tubes as well as the solder to be quite hot (I personally slowly held it over a candle flame and it worked). The connection works well as you can see in the photo. The black tubes I have also used and does the job--shrinks immediately under temperature and stays there.I've also tested the waterproof claim of the seal and it works as well.5/5

Excellent product very handy and well worth the price.

This kit has the full set of heat shrink connectors and seals to ensure good water proof and electrical isolation.I have used this for my water irrigation system which needed extended usb connection to the exterior pumps yet having a wire run to the inside power source.The heat connector seals work well and resist well in the rain and the pump is working well.

For the perpetual tinkerers of the world, of which I am one, soldering is something that is a necessary evil. I can do it but don't enjoy it, especially when I'm lying on the floor of the car with my legs in the road, with a scalding hot iron in my hand and flux dripping into my eyes... these connectors make a quick and simple job of the effort and are a lot safer than the red-hot-poker solution. They come with wire shrink-covers and this is a nice touch, and the case keeps them together. I've had them in bags before and they go everywhere eventually. The solder seems to be of good quality and they hold firm, so all in all, I am very happy.
