Perfect studio strobe
Have three of these now, work perfectly, powerful enough to do a great job.Control them with the Godox X and very easy to set the different levels on each as required.Big strobe but not too heavy, modelling light and strobe lamp are protected during transport with a sturdy cover. Great price for what you get.

Dependable Workhorse for Studio Photography
I've been using the Godox SK400II Studio Flash Strobe Lights for a while now, and they've truly become the backbone of my photography setup. Whether I'm in my studio or out on location, these flashes deliver consistent performance every time. The 400Ws power output is more than sufficient for my needs, whether I'm shooting product photography, food, or portraits. I typically pair two of these flashes with a sizable softbox, and the coverage is phenomenal. Even at a 1/4 of their power output, these lights provide ample illumination for my setups, maintaining crisp details and vibrant colours. One of the standout features of these strobes is the built-in Godox 2.4G Wireless X System. While I haven't personally used the wireless remote yet, I'm eager to integrate it into my workflow soon. The ability to control everything directly from the trigger is a game-changer, streamlining the entire process and ensuring seamless communication between my equipment.Another aspect worth mentioning is the fast recharge time. During a busy photoshoot, every moment counts, and these flashes never fail to keep up with the pace. I've never missed a shot due to slow recycling times, allowing me to stay focused on capturing the perfect image. In terms of portability, these lights are a dream to work with. They're lightweight and easy to transport, making them ideal for both studio sessions and on-location shoots. Whether I'm setting up in my studio or at a client's location, these flashes are always ready to go.Overall, I couldn't be happier with my investment in the Godox SK400II Studio Flash Strobe Lights. They're reliable, versatile, and deliver exceptional results every time. If you're serious about your studio photography, these lights are a must-have addition to your toolkit. Highly recommended.See ya!

Excellent quality and unbelievable value for money
I needed to replace some old Bowens Travellers that had gone down with various defects, and at less than £100 apiece these Godox 400ii units are a total no-brainer - and of course they take all my old Bowens light modifiers.I control the heads with a Godox Xpro remote and it’s all working really well with totally stable brightness and colour from shot to shot. Since my old heads aren’t working, I can’t make a comparison of output, but for my purposes the Godox heads are more than adequate; I run them at 1/8 to 1/4 output most of the time.My 4-light mini studio would cost £3-4,000 in the well known brands instead of £500, but I can’t vouch for the longevity yet. So far so good and fingers crossed.

Great little studio lights that work with the Godox ecosystem
I have AD600 and AD200 lights from Godox for location shooting but wanted mains powered lights for my home studio and have bought 4 of the SK400II lights. So far I am really impressed - the lights feel really solid and work really well with my godox transmitters including the X pro which is a great update from the X1 transmitter. The light seems very consistent and they are very straightforward to pair with the transmitters and change groups etc. Overall I feel they were good value for money as a wireless system and the fact they fit S-fit modifiers makes them very versatile.
