Buf-Puf Facial Sponge, Dermatologist Developed, Removes Deep Down Dirt & Makeup That Causes Breakouts and Blackheads, Reusable, Exfoliating, White, 12 Count

I had problem with acne as a teenager despite a pharmacist dad that brought home various products to try and a mother that encouraged various makeup line cleanser routines. Once I came across the combination of using an original Buff Puff with Neutrogena Acne soap, my acne was super well controlled, not perfect, but I have never looked back. It's now 50 years later and I'm still using the same combination. At times I've been able find cheap scrubbie pad knockoffs at the drugstore that work pretty good, but they're no longer available so I'm back to the original Buff Puff, and I now again remember how far superior it is. Please, please don't ever take it off the market.

It works

It's always depressing buying Buf-Pufs because they're just so darned expensive. You used to be able to get cheap knockoffs that were almost identical, but I've found the quality of these has gone downhill, and you get a face sponge that shreds after about a week's use. I'm definitely not saving money like that. I finally thought to check Amazon for a bulk buy and have been very happy with the price, but happier that I'm back to the real deal. Buf Puf is what has kept my skin looking so good for so many years. I am 43 and get constant comments on my skin. People stop me on the street to ask what I do. The dermatologist or aesthetician will ask me what I do. As soon as I tell them "Dr. Bronner's and Buf Puf", they start in on why that's so bad for your skin, even though the question arose because my skin looks so great. I have never used chemicals on my body, including my face, and so I need the mechanical "abrasion" to aid in exfoliation, and it keeps me from getting pimples. I've succumbed to pressure a number of times in my life and let someone talk me into "gently massaging the cleanser into my skin". Nope. Pimples. Dry skin. Flaky skin. Everyone's skin is different, but Buf Puf is not the devil, and is truly one of the essential items I would take with me onto a deserted island. I use the white sponge, but there's an orange sponge that's a lighter scrub and holds up well. The pink one is super-gentle and shreds on me but might be lovely for really delicate skin. If you haven't used one of these before, start slowly and gently and work up to a more intensive scrub or you might look like you gave your face rug burn!

Been using these for over 20 yrs. Couldn't start my day with out them. Don't waste your money on imitations.

I absolutely love these for my face. It arrived many days later compared to the rest of my order which is why it was four stars instead of five.

I love BUF PUF. It really lightens the spots on my skin! But because I have a very sensitive skin due to my allergies, I just get the GENTLE one for daily use. I have been using the BUF PUF for three years now, same time that I have started up with STRIDEX. It exfoliates the skin so nicely. The dead skin goes and then after a short while, you just see yourself looking much better. Years younger. Yes! Plus, when I touch my face, I can really feel on how smooth and soft it is!However, I miss the DISPOSABLE BUF PUF!!! The reason why I got this is I run out of it!I advise for you guys to use this no matter how young or old you are! The first time I've heard of this was when I was in college. My dermatologist advised that I buy this after I was done with the 20 or so session with her. And I remember on how my skin glowed then. Now, I am happy I found this here in Amazon. So, here I am years later, still a great fan of this product for what it does. Takes off that dead skin and makes me feel all that young again! Good bye blemishes...just be faithful and buf puf your face every day. I do it twice, AM and PM!
