Suprised!
My 8 year old loves RC cars. My 2 year old is always trying to get his hands on his brothers remote controls and cars. We got this one, because it was inexpensive. I was surprised by the speed it had and the brightness of the lights. Some plastic has cracked from him running into things and one head light went out, but considering the abuse my 2 year old puts it through it has held up nicely. My 8 year old likes it more then some of his more expensive RC cars.

Cool little toy for the Price
It's a fun toy for the price. Works well around the house and makes a nice present for kids. You won't be taking it outside into the wild with anything less than a flat surface, but then again the same can be said for the real car.

Great RC car for the price
Great car for the price. My seven year old determined he wanted this toy and saved his own money for it. Once he purchased it I prepared him for the reality that this toy will probably break quickly... because honestly we have a long history of quickly broken RC cars. Boy! has this little car proved me wrong. The remote is very easy to control and the car is very responsive. My seven year old is convinced it is so easy to control and maneuver through obstacles “because it is a real sports car!” He can even get the car to drift and turn fast and tight. The car works well outside and inside, but our wood floors provide a slightly better performance than the concrete sidewalk. We have had the car for over a month and it is played with regularly and it is still going strong.Well worth the money. It is not what I expected for a car priced under $20.

Gift
My grandson loved it. I gave it to him for his birthday. As soon as he opened it he was playing with it. It’s only been like a few days but I’m hoping it will hold up.He loved the working lights and the speed. Easy to manipulate.

Battery usage
My daughter loves this car, except she used it all day and it already needs batteries. The controller for the car is cheap. I think I’m going to return for something that is more money and not so cheap looking.

Works pretty good for the price
I think this remote control car is a good deal as long as you know what to expect. For < $20, I think it performs better than a lot of cars you will find in the store. On the other hand, it does not perform like cars that are $50+.We bought this for our 8 year old son. He has used it on the hardwood floors, carpet, and outside on the sidewalks. He enjoyed it both inside and outside. When using it inside, watch out for your feet/toes! It does work fine on the sidewalk, but I felt it made the car seem a little slow once you are out there and so much space to cover.

Collects hair too fast, stops working.
Save your money, get something else, this will just break a little kids heart when he barely gets to play with it!Got this remote control car just barely under a year ago for my 5 yr old son's birthday. He was so excited and could call the Veneno by name within hours. He loved that the lights lit up. At first it was fun. He drove it around the kitchen floor. (No carpets because it rides pretty low.) Within days the space between the chasis of the car and the tires were so full of hair it gathered from the kitchen floor that the car couldn't turn and a short time later it barely squeaked forward. I inspected the car and found that there is just the perfect gap there to gather hair but not enough to get it out without extreme effort. I spent several hours picking the hairs out pain stakingly. We agreed from the time forward that he would only be allowed to drive it after the kitchen floors were freshly cleaned. This is hard to time right for a 5 year old boy. Even when we followed this rule the car always seemed to find and gather what little hairs and crap was on the floor and get jammed up again. He got tired of dealing with it, I got tired of always spending hours picking hair out of the tires so he saddly, hardly ever uses it now. I don't remember having this problem growing up with remote control cars so i figure there has to be some kind of design flaw causing this to happen.
