InstaTrim Waterproof Wall Trim Self-Adhesive Caulk Strip - Peel and Stick Molding, Floor, Wall, Countertops and Windows (White2, 3/4 in x 10 ft)

The media could not be loaded.  Matt black flexible slightly rubbery, trim just wide enough to make a nice neat edge between my tiles and worktop/cabinet.No as easy to apply as you might think due to the gummy caulk adhesive on the back which you need to really press into the corners to create a good seal, I used the blunt end of a knife handle to drag along the length pressing firmly to push the caulk into the join , some can spill out from edges a bit and it's white on this black tape so will need to be cleaned off carefully once these have settled in a bit.But overall has done a good job and blends in well with my black worktop and cabinets. Unless you want annoying joins make sure you buy enough rolls for your long lengths this can be costly but a lot easier/less messy than caulking the old fashioned way.

I thought this would be a good solution to a bathroom corner trim but after a few days, not exposed to bathroom conditions, the trim became loose with one trim piece completely peeling itself off. It has also contracted leaving gaps in the corners, seen in the photos. Instatrim do corner pieces but not in the UK. They don't ship to the UK either so I'm going to have to remove this trim and now scrape and clean the putty. Thank you very much Instatrim, extra work I didn't need. Don't buy this trim it's not fully supported

The look wasn't great and only stuck in parts. Was cleaned before use and installed to instructions. I used on worktop, maybe wasn't so visible it would be ok but certainly not worth the price tag

This is a great idea, it is easy to use and gives a perfect finish.

This was easy to fit but just would not stay stuck in place. I ensure everything was clean and thoroughly degreased, I even sanding the surface to increase adhesion and used a heat gun. I did a test piece on a similar surface which seem to adhere at first but that too ended up coming lose. It is a shame as it looked so good but now I may have to remove and try something else

I didn't want to spend the extra money for this tool when buying the product but am glad that I did. After reading reviews and looking at the pics of finished projects I was convinced that this tool was needed. The trim caulk is very soft and pliable, which makes for a nice fit into the seams using the tool. The tool "sets" the trim into the crevice without leaving indentations from fingers or pressing too hard with something else to set it in place. Highly recommend this tool and for me it was worth every penny. We used it in the RV bath around the countertop to wall seam and the flooring to wall seams and it looks better than the factory original!

Was easy enough to install, I was thankful that someone else had commented to use a blow dryer when installing. Once I got it in place, I heated it well in small sections with a blow dryer. You can manipulate it better that way, press hard to get it to stick well and the since the glue has heated up it sticks better. I had enough left over to do around the bottom of my tub. It is not easy to do the corners, you need to cut it on an angle and fit it. Luckily my corners are hidden because I wasn’t happy with how they turned out. I have used caulking before, and I’m not good at making it neat. This is a nice alternative, looks nice and clean.

This worked great for our countertop! The light brown is a good color to coordinate with our countertop stone. We don’t have a backsplash, so this was a good way to create a seal between the wall and countertop. Was very easy to apply after scraping out old caulk. It’s been about 2 weeks since we applied it and it is sticking well and holding its shape- even with strong sunlight that comes in through the windows. I like that it’s more permanent than caulking (which needs replacing regularly) and much more convenient than what we tried before - cutting wood trim pieces to apply with tiny nails. This is good stuff! Wish I had found it earlier.

Easy install. I first steam cleaned and allowed to dry for a few days. Floors are radiant heat. Just before install I cleaned toilet base and floor with Acetone and allowed to dry. I purchased the factory tool to push in the edging tight and uniformly. I have not tugged on edge or end and final opinion will be amended and noted if needed over time. The adhesive has a bit of gooey feel to it and seemed extremely sticky which is initially comforting. With the heated floors this should be an ideal installation. Remains to be seen! I really like the tidy look over the initial paintable caulk I applied to seal the toilet to code. This application was purely decoration . I am hoping the underlying caulk will allow for better adhesion over the long term. This is a commercial application and the floor it abuts is mopped every other day. We shall see.2 months report:Still perfect and tight. No change. A+++
