The Travel Book (Mini) Paperback – June 25, 2013

Got this for my young Niece (10) since she always looks through our Large coffee table sized original book when she visits. She was thrilled beyond measure when it was on of her Xmas presents from us....~~ Great way to teach kids the World.....~

I love this book! It is small enough to carry with me with enough information that is relevant to the majority of the countries that I will be visiting soon.

Such a great world travelling references, i like it because it tell point by point of interest

Just a bookshelf essential!!

I am not happy. I order these books all the time for work and the last month all 4 books I have ordered have came to me used. Either the cover was ripping, the whole book was upside down inside or it was used.

A no nonsense guide that tells you the essential information for every possible country you would want to go to. I was pleasantly surprised that it also didn't sugar coat anything, if a country is war torn it doesn't say "visit the beautiful mountains.." It says "it's lovely but wait until political problems have ceased!"

Love this book and if you love to travel then it's for you, giving you a taster explanation of every country!

Awesome book! Gives you phrases of the country, tells you exactly what to do in each country to get the full experiences and is just fun to read overall.

Good book for ideas and insights into different places to inspire further reading

This book is more of a coffee table style book, it is nice to browse for a few minutes but any real information of the country and any travelling aspect found in other Lonely Planet books is lacking. Nice book but may not be what you are looking for.
