I liked it so much I bought a second one shortly after receiving my first. I use it for sourdough but I’m sure there are many other applications I can use it for once I’ve had it longer than a week. It’s the perfect size & thickness to hold up to mixing the dough. It scrapes around my bowl with ease and the cleanup is fast because there isn’t much surface to clean. The naked wood has been sanded with care and is completely smooth. It is un-lacquered which is my preference. It’s a little on the expensive side however worth it as it’s the only size and sturdiness of its kind after I’ve extensively searched for something similar in mind.

Just buy it
Kept putting off buying this because it didn’t seem necessary, but I literally use it everyday and it makes me really happy. Simple design, but works so well. I just bought 3 for my favorite people.

Quite a bit smaller than I expected it to be.
I kind of expected this to be bigger. It is very small in the hand. The wood is a very high-quality. It is extremely strong, as I can mix stiff dough ingredients without difficulty. It is quite pricey for what you get. I’m relatively new to baking, so I’m just now learning how to use the proper tools. I do enjoy this, I just wish it was a little bit bigger and a little bit less cost

I Love This Tool!
I have used this for so many things. It is very comfortable to use and seems to clean up well and will hold up to many washings. It is the perfect size for making sourdough bread and many other things. Mixing, stirring, whipping works for almost anything. Very easy to use. It cannot rust because it is wood.

Not a true danish whisk, but useful nonetheless
This type of whisk is for very specific types of dough. The description tells of "wires" that aid in whisking eggs, but that is not the case. There are no wires, just the hole. This whisk is really useful for scone or soda bread-like dough—dryish and sticky—where you need to incorporate eggs and liquid. It is not a whipper, nor is it meant to be. The four stars are for the misleading descriptions. This is a great little whisk if you use it for what it's meant to do.
