I did not like the fact that I only received 1 pack. In order to receive the second half I must return the half I did receive, wait for the refund and then buy the whole lot again. I can't review the actual product for obvious reasons.

Great for snake tank
Love this stuff! Works great for my snakes tank. It keeps the humidity levels where they need to be at. This along with sphagnum moss is the perfect combination. I was sooo surprised with how it expands once placed in water. They come really condensed but once placed in water it creates more than what I thought. The 2 "bricks" it comes with is perfect for a 40 gallon tank

Good Stuff
I got this substrate for a rat snake that requires additional humidity. So far it holds moisture very well, and 2-3 bricks (depending on depth preference) is all you need to cover the bottom of a 40 gallon tank. My snake doesn't burrow so 2 bricks worked perfectly fine. I will make this my go-to substrate for the future.
