Well organized book to prepare for the test at home

very useful information and practice tests

My daughter was recommended by her teacher to buy this practice book to prepare for her SHSAT test in NY this November. I think she enjoyed it and got her score as she wanted.

Covered every single needed topic perfectly

This product provided a lot of helpful information need on the SHSAT! I am proud to say that my son got into a specialized high school by using this book! This book offers a lot of practice tests as well as very accurate questions similar to the actual test (confirmed by my son). Although the book seems like a lot of work, I think the best way to prepare for a test is for repetition and understanding of the context! Enjoy and Good Luck!

It’s easier than the other books and not as accurate to the actual test, this is more pre Shsat prep book.

As other reviewers point out, this book is full of errors. For example, in the practice test for Section 1, questions 9-16 do not match with their answers/explanations, and there are no answers/explanations provided for questions 17-20. As I see from other reviews, more mistakes are waiting as my daughter moves forward with the book. This book needs a thorough edit and should not have been published without one.

If your kid is serious about testing for the SHSAT this book is great thanks now.
