I am VERY happy with this purchase (however, I should qualify that by pointing out that at this time of writing I haven’t yet fitted this to my bike so I have given a four star rating rather than five).I like the weight (it’s very light).The graphics mean It’s very attractive. My only gripe is that I think the measurement scale should run at least an inch (25.4mm) higher and preferrably two inches.To match my bike I wanted the Seatpost to be a bit more shiny/glossy so I sprayed it with lacquer.There’s not much more to say about such a basic product.UPDATE (2021.03.27)I like this product even more now, because today for the first time in over two years I had to remove the seatpost. I was VERY VERY surprised to find that there wasn't a shim in the seat tube; you see, my seat tube is made for 28.6mm seatposts which means that posts are either too big or they are much smaller (usually 27.2 mm) and require a shim which I don't like using coz the vast majority are poorly designed (either too short to run down past the top tube, as they should for proper support, or slightly the wrong size (contrary to their written specs) or they don't have a slit so that they pinch nicely when you tighten the seatpost clamp).The seatpost I bought (and I had forgotten this) was exactly the right size, 28.6 mm. So I came back here to Amazon to check and found that this seatpost is made in ALL of the common sizes, so pretty much any bike you have can be supported by one of these seatposts. That's great.It's also a testimony to the product that I had forgotten what its specs were; in other words, it's a product that nicely gets on with doing the job for which it was intended without annoyingly drawing attention to itself.I am now gonna increase my review score from 4 stars to 5 stars.

Good quality aluminium seat post, with a tough black finish, and - nicely - a centimetre scale printed on it, so that you can adjust it, then put it back to where it was before!

It’s a seat post, but put a saddle on before you sit on it !! Or not, whatever!!

Brought this to replace a small fixed seat and post for a Mongoose Fireball as it was too small. Very please with it and looks good too.

My son's bike needed the saddle raised, but we were at the limit - so I ordered this, it has a nice finish, it's very easy to change over, and it doesn't look like a replacement. I'm very pleased.

Ajusta perfectamente, sustituí la original por que el asiento era muy estrecho y debido a mi tonelaje me resultaba molesto, así que compré otro mucho más ancho, un sillón vamos, pero usaba un sistema de anclaje distinto como los de toda la vida, así que tuve que adquirir también la tija. El hecho de que funcione conmigo ya es una garantía.
