These are a good value for the quality. Plain edge, not the horrible serrated edge that I hate. Good hard steel, that holds an edge. But like any hard steel, these can be a bit difficult to sharpen well. They are on the larger side for steak knives, and serve well for food prep. Overall good fit and finish, and comes with a nice hardwood block.

Love that they are not serrated and are sharp. Not to heavy and not to light.

Great set of sharp, non serrated knives. The size and heft is perfect for hands of all sizes. Always a clean cut through any meat without tearing. So far only handwashing them after use. The block is sturdy and compact.

i have always accepted that serated edge steaks knives was something you just lived with.never very sharp.as i searched online for non serated steak knives with sharpest edge I found these.Am I glad I did.I did not care about the price,I wanted quality and peace of mund when I have dinner guests over.Thanks amazon and the mfg. of the knive.from MR Tom

The knives look nice and cut well, and have a durable, sturdy handle but the block is cheap and as shown in the picture, one of the slits is not cut deep enough. Disappointing.

I have that other brand of expensive German knives that everyone knows about. These are amazing quality and razor sharp. You will not be disappointed and you’ll save a lot of money.
