We’ve been using this for a while now and it has really helped with my son’s allergies when he’s in the house. It has a screen that displays the air quality and an auto function so if the air quality is low it will automatically adjust to clean it. It is really big so just be aware of that if it’s for a small room. It’s also fairly quiet and my son has it on 24/7. It’s also a bonus that the filter lasts 5 years. We just clean it regularly and that’s all it needs.Overall it has definitely been brilliant value for money for us.

I love my air purifier. What more needs to be said. Auto mode ramps up and down as needed - it can throw a lot of air at higher settings. I generally keep mine on setting one and vacuum the pre-filters once a month. I can't hear it in my room on that setting but if you set it to max it is certainly audible. It does often come £50 off on sale, making it very good value.

After some research done to find the right sort of air purifier, I bit the bullet and purchased this model. This is probably one of the best long term investments made regarding clean indoor air quality. I work from home three days per week, so spend most of my time here, and the air quality has improved significantly since then. Indoor air quality is not the same as being outside, so I have resolved this issue with this and now feels much fresher and clearer. My desk space is located in the bedroom. I sleep much better at night and also noticed that I no longer wake up with a stuffy nose. We had a bbq not too long a go, the smell of smoke wafted down the other end of the house. Immediately , the air purifier went into overdrive and banished the smoke smells. This is a real sturdy piece of kit and easy to move into other rooms, should you so wish. Economical with electrical usage, too. Switches to economic mode once it’s done its job. Cannot recommend it highly enough. Filter just needs to be cleaned every two weeks or so.

This Shark air purifier is a good one.It purifies the air automatically and the fan slows down by itself as the rooms air quality increases and it eventually stays on low when it is at 100%.The timer is a great option as I put it on for on for an hour or two before I go to bed and by that time the room is usually at 100% anyway.If you smoke you can see the Shark fan draw in the smoke away from the rest of the room but have to have this on number 3 to do this. It can also feel quite cold when it’s on, you can feel the fan on your legs even on number 2 from 5ft away though it’s subtle.It collects quite a bit of dust over a few weeks which you can see and clean easily so I know it’s doing its job.It’s good if you have allergies as you can feel the freshness in the room when it’s been purified.If you use this all day on different but mainly low settings it can be quite expensive to run. I calculated it was using between £1.50-£3.50 for the day.Had it a good few months and am happy with it.I would recommend this Shark never change (5 year) filter Air Purifier.

Mum has COPD, she uses it in her bedroom and it shows 100% air, if she uses her nebuliser it shows the quality going down below 70% so does work well. We haven't used the smell filter as yet, but really impressed with it.

I've been leaving my cats litter try in the one bedroom and the room after an hour the smells are gone and the pollen lever is next to gone i have a laser air quality monitor and it really works as described
