So far no problems, I replaced this part on a lift chair about a month ago and it is still working great. I got it at a lower price than the manufacturer was asking, and the manufacturer didn't have it in stock. I got it a lot faster then I would have from manufacturer. I had it withing four days of ordering it, and that four days included Saturday and Sunday.

We have lift off.
Replaced the motor on my Mom's recline lift chair. The part number was exactly the same and fit perfectly. It was a quick replacement, and it was easier and cheaper than buying a new chair.

Very pretty to look at.
The media could not be loaded. They are very pretty to look at. , it’s quite an eye catcher for me. Almost mesmerizing. I was only a little disappointed, because for some reason I thought it was going to throw off a low lighting in different colors into the room, but pretty much regular low lighting is emitted. But that is my fault. I don’t think I read details correctly when purchasing . I’m very satisfied, It’s not hard on the eyes at all. I would not recommend hiding buibs behind a lampshade. It will kill any visual effect. I know, I tried. With 3 bulbs iIt it just lights up the corner of my living room.I can stare at it for hours, without being blinded. Not that I stare at it for hours. But I could. lol

why replace the chair when only the motor is bad?
i bought this after mistakenly thinking the current motor had expired. After investigation I found that the metal motor mounts had broken instead. After re-welding the mounts and strengthening them I reinstalled the motor and found that it worked just fine. This recently purchased motor will go in the closet and wait for the current motor to fail.

Worked great for about 3 hrs.
Installed the new lift motor and it worked fine for about 3 hrs. the unit now has a loud clunking noise as it moves thru certain areas of the stroke when I am seated. while I run the chair with no weight in it there is no noise and the action is smooth. I have had the chair checked and there is nothing wrong. The chair is a little over 2 yrs. old so the chair is not worn out. It's a faulty actuator motor.
