ASICSWomen's Gel-Nimbus 25 Running

I’ve been looking at and wanting to try these shoes for a while, and now that I have, I wish I hadn’t waited so long! While first putting them on, I realized the tongue of the shoe is a stretchy, neoprene type material. I really like it! I have wide feet, and the wide width is just perfect. In Brooks, I wear a 9 wide, but based on measurements given in the chart, I ordered a 9.5 wide in these. They’re the perfect length. As far as the feel of the shoes when walking (I’m not a runner), these are very cushioned but still supportive. I tend to roll my feet outward (supinate) a bit when I walk, and these really feel like they keep my feet straight. The sole / base of the shoes feels nice and wide, but they don’t look like clown shoes on my feet at all. They just feel amazing! I also love the color I got… the grey with blue and pink on the side of the sole. They’re so pretty! And I really love and appreciate that there are so many color choices in wide width. Usually, we’re stuck with only one or two rather bland choices but not with these! Overall, as soon as I put these on and took a walk around my apartment for several minutes, I loved them and knew I would be keeping them. I’m going to be walking around for miles at Universal Studios in a couple of months and will update after that as to how they did on the trip!Update after the Universal Studios trip… the shoes were awesome!! I’m slightly overweight and not in great shape at all, but even after walking around for 5+ hours, my feet didn’t hurt a bit after wearing these! Highly recommended!

I have been using my Gel-Nimbus 25 for a couple months now and they still look and feel brand new. When you first try them on they feel incredible, but after breaking them in a bit, you REALLY notice the cushion in the heel area. I have stress fractured my heels in the past wear Nike Free Run shoes and I was advised by my sports medicine doctor to avoid Nike for any future running shoes I buy. He recommended a few different brands, Asics being one of them, and after finding these - I am hooked. These shoes really give me the support I need.

Most comfortable pair of shoes I have ever owned. Very cushy sole, modest arch support. Bought these to help with plantar faciitis, which they did. At first one of the shoes was too tight across my little toe, but after several wearings it stretched to fit. The sole is thick, so you will be an inch or so taller. I am worried that the top of the shoe won't be very durable as it is made of a thin, stretchy material, but so far no problems. Some people have complained that the laces don't stay tied, but I haven't experienced that. Will probably buy another pair.

I purchased these for real comfort when walking and working out. These fit well, they are comfortable, and run true to size. These cradle my feet instead of putting the stress on the balls of my feet. When I initially got them, the insole was a bit stiff, but one wear and they are much better. I no longer feel stiffness. Overall worth the money for this level of comfort and performance so far.

For many years, I have depended on ASICS as my go to running shoe and I always liked them but these… I love!! The foot bed is amazingly supportive and cushioning. The souls are solid and prevent me from turning my ankle. The upper is supportive and envelops your foot in a cushiony fabric blanket. They are amazing shoes.! I highly recommend them!

First of all you should always size up usually, one whole size, when you’re buying asics vs your normal every day dress shoe. Having said that, this version seems a little too roomie in the toe-box. The last version was actually too tight. This newer version has adequate shoestrings length, which the last version did not. Although this version is comfortable and seems light weight they actually feel a little bulky on your feet. I made the mistake of getting the bright pink ones and my Feet size 8, pretty much look like clown shoes due to the extra bulk. These shoes do you have a lot of padding, so I don’t recommend them for walking As that actually seems to take more energy. I’m not sure why there is such a variation Between each number And i am not sure the changes are always an upgrade, Such as with this one. Also there seems to be very little traction, so I’m not sure how well they would do under some wet or muddy conditions. I think they take a little getting used to but I am starting to at least. I am a big fan but some of the Seemingly, unnecessary, changes can be frustrating.

These shoes are amazing and fit so comfortably. They are IMO better than hokas and my brooks . I am standing most of the day at home and with my job, I walk a lot as well during the day with work and my feet are so comfortable. The color doesn’t go with a lot but I wear mostly black so they look great and give it a pop of color.

I have worn this shoe brand for years and know as my bunions are getting worse a little change in the area where they are works perfectly! Stretchy material so wonderful

Walked Disney a week after getting them with no problems and NYC 6 months later. Super comfy and got even got some compliments on them from NY’ers. My foot is narrow/regular and they got true to size. Threw in the washer and air dried.
