Had a cheaper slightly thinner and definitely lighter stainless steel version of this product before and was satisfied with it but knew I could find better. This hamburger press is absolutely better. What you need when it comes to hamburger presses is something with some WEIGHT to it. The heavier your press is naturally the easier your job becomes because then you don't have to stand there and use your own body weight to try and force your patty into the correct shape. This hamburger press being cast iron helps with that a lot and I'd say its about perfect. If anything I wish it was a little heavier on its own. It advertises itself as 'small' but I'd say its about the size of a typical grocery-store bun and you don't have to worry about it being too small. The hamburger press works well on the grill or in a pan and its super easy to clean. I was really satisfied by the quality of the handle and the fact the heat doesn't travel up to it so I've never had to worry about being burned. I'd recommend and if this seller had a slightly heavier cast-iron hamburger press I'd love it.

I've used several different kinds of meat presses, personally and professionally. I love this one for home use. I need one more. Its perfect for the burgers and chicken I cook. even for my bacon, because i cut my bacon in half. I really like this one. It is not super heavy and it washes easily. The handle does not get too hot to handle.

I don't know why most companies make their burger presses with channels cut into them. The meat sticks and don't get a perfect "smash" like a flat bottom. Well this press understands how to get a good smash. The bottom is nice and flat for really getting that perfect flat smash without any meat sticking. The wood handle on top is comfortable, although you want to make sure that you do not touch where it connects at the handle if you use it to keep bacon flat as the cast iron will be hot.10/10 recommend.

I had never even considered making my own smash burgers until I saw this nice cast iron burger press! When I saw it, I knew I had to get it and I'm very glad I did!Smashing burgers is such a fun and satisfying experience. It cooks the meat very quickly giving you a nice crispy exterior and juicy interior, and it's way faster. There are a ton of recipes online if you're not sure what to do exactly.The smash press is very well made and the wood handle is great to make sure your hands don't burn (although you wouldn't be leaving it on the heat for long anyway). I recommend this to any burger enthusiast!

SVEECK's burger press replaced a cheap plastic one in our kitchen and its been another great addition to our pantry tools. The press almost one whole piece of cast iron, which is just the right weight. The handle bar is attached with some sturdy screws and feels right in the hands. Its easy to clean up after pressing some delicious burgers or even some steaks. Just remember to oil dry it after washing (no dishwasher) and apply a bit of oil to maintain its seasoning.

This is an excellent device, get it if you grill. It is large will work for any size burger, very comfortable, the handle is plastic that does not heat up. I just tried it; it squeezed the water from the burgers making the preparation time shorter and the texture is just right. It can make a very nice house-warming present.Recommend.

The media could not be loaded.  Hubby & I love to grill “hamburger happiness” & this burger press is a sure helper. It’s made of cast iron & heavy enough to mash the patties. Get one for you or give one to someone, it’s perfect for gifting & it has a good packaging. It’s making me hungry now.
